The location was fine, the rooms were nice and bathroom was very clean, and modern.
The location was fine, however getting into the building was difficult. As we weren’t provided with information in relation to this upon our arrival. Meaning I had to contact the host myself, as the code that was originally given on email, was incorrect. Therefore I had to message the host back and forth. As we weren’t able to get in with the code given. Therefore, if better communication was to happen, this would have prevented, waiting around outside the apartment. We also got given a message of everything we needed to know on arrival after we had arrived. So this wasnt put in place before, so we had to once we were in, ask people who were staying in the building ,where the door to get into the apartment was located, as we weren’t provided with information until after we had already got in the building. Therefore the experience would have been a lot smoother if we had been provided with information before hand. The facilities in the apartment were nice, and we enjoyed our stay here!

Proximity to Murrayfield and Tynecastle stadiums was great. Walking distance to both.
Apartment was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Suited us perfectly for our one night stay.
Communal area could do with some TLC. We also found the road quite noisy with window open (which was needed as was hot).

Great location for the Murrayfield stadium, 15/20 mins walk.
Pay parking available nearby, take note of location code on signs, download app and the price paid covers hours outside the local signs; hours bought pause and start the next day, so you get up later to get your car if needed.
The flat was very nice inside, almost like new.
Don't let the communal hall and stairs put you off (These are in desperate need of a splash of paint) The flat is very nice with great hot water pressure.
Lots of food takeaways/restaurants/pubs on this street.
Pictures supplied for easy access to the lock box and the supply of tea/coffee/sugar was appreciated.
Outer door lock was too much effort to make the entry smooth but with fiddling it opened.

Location and cleanliness.
At the time of booking it wasn’t disclosed that this was a 3rd floor apartment with no lift. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with baggage. We needed help.
The landlord kindly arranged the cleaners to carry the bag. Due to previous reviews of uncleanliness we asked the landlord to arrange for the apartment to be properly cleaned. He did a great job of this.
He was helpful but the facilities were poor. This feedback was given to him so I’m sure he will mend this for future holiday makers. The dishwasher wasn’t working. The bathroom drainage was bad -the water overflowed into the bathroom leaving the area soaked. There were 2 beautiful TVs in the apartment, but no internet connection- so we could watch anything.
