Queenshill is a two bedroom apartment in a convenient location from which to enjoy the glorious and varied aspects of Scotlands wonderful capital City. Situated on the north side of the city and only a 5 minute bus ride from the West End, Queenshill offers easy access to the Forth Road Bridge, airport, convenient bus routes and all main roads for those who wish to explore further afield. The flat was immaculate, suited our purpose very well and was well located for taking an Uber in to the centre of Edinburgh - fare on average was 11. There is also a very handy bus stop about 200 metres away. The area was very quiet and well looked after.The flat itself was well equipped with lots of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. the only thing that missing, as in so many properties, was a hand towel in the kitchen! The beds were very comfortable and were a good size. I would highly recommend the property and would certainly return.

We stayed at at this flat for three nights. Kitchen was stocked , bedrooms were clean and sufficient and living room was a comfortable place to relax. We felt the apartment could be heated longer as the heat came on only twice for an hour throughout the day.

This was a convenient location with shopping and coffee an easy walk. The bus stop was close to carry us to City Centre. The flat was compact and comfortable. This was our first trip to Edinburgh for our family. The apartment was perfect as it is super clean, large enough for a family of 4 adults to spread out a bit. It is in a great location just around the corner from a bus stop that will take you right in to the Center of Edinburgh. Uber rides were also very affordable from the apartment location to the heart of Edinburgh. There is a large grocery as well as a pharmacy and a Starbucks just a couple of minutes walk away. The grocery store has everything you might need including delicious pastries. Fiona gave great instructions on accessing the apartment upon our arrival and there is a dedicated parking spot in the apartment car park should you have a car. The apartment is super quiet. We never saw nor heard another neighbour. The only thing I would give a heads up about is the apartment is located on the 3rd floor without elevator. It wasn’t a problem for us as we are all in decent shape but if you have any physical limitations it could make things a bit difficult.

This is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath flat in Edinburgh. It is a 3rd floor walk-up (4th floor to Americans), so be aware of that if you have mobility issues - there is no lift. There are two loveseats and a table seating 4 in the lounge. The kitchen is well-appointed, with an apartment-size refrigerator. There is a washer only, no dryer. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable.

The flat is nice and tidy, with a big parking space – everything as described (bath/fully equipped kitchen). The perfect view on the castle and the old town is a little encumbered by nearby trees, but that's all – if you're surprised by the stairs and no elevator you did not read closely enough :) Biggest plus is the bus stop with regular connection to the city centre around the corner (two lines, 15 minute drive), the big shopping centre just across the street and two gas stations in the immediate surrounding. Communication with Fiona was prompt and friendly. I'd definetely check back with her first should I return to Edinburgh which is quite possible. Thx for everything

We really enjoyed Fiona’s place, and its location as well, close to shopping and not far from the old town. Her place is clean, quiet, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived. In the bathroom we noticed several mouldy places.During the night there were noises assumingly in the water pipes (mainly close to midnight and appearing at something like 5 a.m. again). So much in regard to recreations. The magnificient view ?! The one to Edinburgh was covered by trees - don't get me wrong I like trees. But you can enjoy a nice view to the next gas station. Finally you have to love carrying your luggage to the 3rd floor with no elevator.

No lift but very quiet and well equipped (including dishwasher, washer, wifi and parking spot) Shopping centre close by (walking distance) and easy to take transit system too. Dean Village is a 20-25 minute walk. The perfect stay for our Edinburgh adventure!

Good location , good apartment stay with family. all the necessary shops are opposite, (no need to buy anything and bring it from home). We had a great time at the christmas market, had a nice walk around the city, everything is beautiful and christmas mood. Thank you Fiona for great weekend xxx

Despite good communication the picture given in this email is a misrepresentation. The furniture, pictures etc were not the same. This flat has no lift, and is very dated. Also cold, despite being told to change heating this proved to be very difficult. No information on buses, taxis or places to eat. All these are usually found in rentals.

This was a lovely appartment, really comfortable beds and good shower. Very roomy appartment. Lovely view and we did worry about it being noisy but it wasn't in the slightest. Location was good - easy to get into Edinburgh central by a choice of buses, three minutes walk away to bus stop. Lovely walk into Haymarket and Princes Street along a leafy walkway which I suspect had been an old railway - took us 50 minutes to get into the centre. Shops opposite for fresh food if needed!
