About this house rental
Elegant, private, pristine two bedroom guest cottage is located on 1.5 acre family compound in the desirable Hither Hills area on Montauk. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Montauk's gorgeous beaches without the noise and hassle of the summer crowds. Walk down the hill to the deeded access only Montauk Beach Property Owner's Association (MBPOA) beach path, or drive to the nearest gated lot (key and parking pass provided.)
Light and airy, the care and attention to detail in this home's design is evident in every room. Pyramid ceiling with skylight floods the main room with light during the day, and offers the stars to view at night. Bamboo floors, inlaid doors, solid maple kitchen cabinetry, central air and WiFi access all contribute to its unsurpassed comfort and beauty.
The cottage is located approximately 50 yards from the main house residence, and we are always available on site for any questions, advice or recommendations during your stay - but far enough away for your complete privacy. As the guest house is part of our single family residence, we fully comply with the Town of East Hampton rental registry regulation, which does not require resident home owners to secure a registry number if the home is owner-occupied during a rental.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful, clean and spacious guest house for my cousin's wedding. The hostess was super friendly, and very easily reachable if we had any questions. She introduced herself when we checked in and we had complete privacy for our whole stay. She even left a chilled bottle of rosé in the fridge for us. The house had beautiful views of nature and even had a skylight. The AC worked beautifully and the big TV in the living room can swing out so you can watch from the dining room table. We used Uber to and from the reception and they found the house easily. The private beach was super clean and we basically had it to ourselves. Fantastic property, hostess, and stay! Would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic find. A 2BR, 2Bath guest house on a beautiful piece of property in Hither Hills community. Guest house was perfectly appointed for our needs, and absolutely spotless. Brought our bikes and rode to the lighthouse and to the town of Montauk. Location was great as it easily allowed access to Amagansett as well as East Hampton. Host Jennifer remained on the property in the main house. She greeted us on arrival, and was always available as a resource. One of the best vacation rental experiences we have landed.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this lovely property again and hope to do so next year. Jennifer was very easy to communicate with and the house is perfect. The location is great - it's secluded but within 5 minutes or less driving distance to the beach. The house comes equipped with everything one would need for a vacation. We tended to eat out all the time so we did not avail ourselves to the grill or use the kitchen much but next time I hope to stay longer than 3 nights and make use of the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the house very clean. I loved driving the old Montauk highway into the adorable town of Montauk where there were ample places to find good food and do grocery shopping. All in all, we had a great time in beautiful Montauk and couldn't believe our luck in finding such a perfect house.
