The area of Casa Juan was very family friendly, very safe had lots of shops,cafes,restaurants has a market on Thursdays,The staff in Retrogusto and the food were fabulous, would highly recommend, Casa Anita and the pizzeria just up from it looked after us also,Casa Juan was great for our family of 9,plenty space,we had Breakfast every morning in the back Garden after visiting the local bakery shops,we visited Malaga ever day by taking the No 2 bus in ,the bus stop is just around the corner,so it was very easy to access the city centre,we visited the botanical garden with the Christmas lights, which is approximately 25 minutes walk.Our host Antonio met us on arrival and explained everything to us,Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend Casa Juan,we hope to return.

From the point of view of a group of mountain bikers it's a perfect location, close to the trails, in 3 minutes you're out of the city, in the mountains. The staff speaks perfect english and communication with them is ideal. They were flexible with our check in and out times. The house looks recently refurbished, is clean and has all comforts and utensils needed. Totally recommend.
It's quite noisy in the night because the house is located close to a busy street with shops, restaurant, car garages etc. Also, there's no private parking and sometimes finding a place to park takes a bit of time, but we were aware of that.
