The Bothy was spacious yet cosy. The library lounge was warm and well appointed with a log burner. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor space was the highlight of the trip. With little light pollution, the view of the night sky was stunning. Considering pur daily use of the hot tub, The Bothy was good value for money. We enjoyed walks into Kelso and also a trip to a nearby spa.
The kitchen lacked the luxurious feel of the lounge and bedroom. The chairs in the sitting area in the kitchen were tired. The two prosecco flutes didn't match. A simple welcome pack would have felt right on a farm property with milk, butter, eggs, bread etc.

Loved the bright sunny conservatory in the mornings for having breakfast. Very comfortable bed and the shower was one of the best we have had in a holiday cottage. Location perfect for us - Floors Castle, wandering around Kelso and plenty of walking nearby.
