The Lodge

I didn't appreciate how quiet it was going to be. It was bliss waking up every morning to utter silence. The house was great, everything we needed was in there. The couple who run it, Ashley and Simon and they're son Mac, were very helpful. We encountered a small issue with the hot tub and Simon was over within 5-10 minutes to sort it, with a big smile on his face. I was impressed with how quickly they dealt with it. Mac runs a wee egg buisnes which is cool, I challenges anyone to say they're not the best eggs they've ever eaten! Hot tub was an extra bonus for my son and myself, again great setting, listening to bird song, really enjoyed my stay!

The only issue was the sitting rooms and possibly the floor in one of bedrooms hadn't been totally cleaned, but honestly that didn't bother us as the bathrooms/kitchen were spotless and everything was tidy.

We loved the location and the fact it was rural yet Kelso was very close. The Lodge was lovely with comfy beds and tasteful furniture.

Leaving

Property is very well presented, and private from the farm if your in the Hot tub or letting the Dog play. It has everything you need in the kitchen to.

Nothing

The lodge was lovely, very peaceful & relaxing. Lovely decorated & Hot Tub was a bonus.

There was nothing, not to like.
