the carpet the cozy living room and kitchen tje nearby lake

the pier should have a ladder so that you get out there after swimming. in the whole house , hooks at the wall are missing to hang clothes, especially in the entry for jackets

The location was excellent, beautiful scenery and directly on the Loch. Easily found by road and accessible. Great facilities and all needs met. Darren was a brilliant warm host , providing plenty of assistance and information about the location and local items to do.

We loved this cozy lodge and Darren was so incredible to my family!

This was the best property we stayed in in all of Scotland! Very cozy and updated inside while having the rustic lodge feel on the outside. Access to kayaks and a dock was wonderful, and Darren was an incredible host! He answered all of our questions and was available for anything we needed, including recommendations for stops along our road trip both ways!

We have no critiques - everything was wonderful.

Beautiful stay in a lodge (cabin) on Loch Lomond accessible by train

Beautiful location directly on Loch Lomond! Ability to cook our own meals, but also very good food at the restaurant in the adjacent hotel (available for lunch and dinner for non-hotel guests). Ferry from the marina across the loch to the Highland Way hiking trail. Very quiet and relaxing. Accessible by train!

Location was absolutely stunning, lodge had great facilities, everything we needed for a relaxing evening together. Darren could not have been a more helpful host. We had walked from Balmaha that day and just missed the last ferry across to Ardlui. Darren went down to the ferry terminal to ask them to come back over and collect us and they did! Also upon seeing how exhausted we all were, he then went and collected our bags from the hotel. Would highly recommend staying, and a huge thank you to Darren

Host was very thoughtful and friendly. Accommodation was beautiful, clean and very well equipped. There is also the opportunity to use kayaks. Location is also great if you want to go for a walk or just relax at the lodge for a few days.
