The Oasis

The owners, Illeana and Riccardo, are the kindest people! They were extremely helpful and responsive to questions I had about things to see in the area and how to navigate transportation, which can be challenging. Their historic property is charming, spacious, and recently renovated. The large hot tub in the room was an extra treat, something you rarely find in other accommodations. (The heating and air conditioning system is new and felt really good on the warmer nights.) Great soundproofing in the walls so you can get a restful nights sleep. I would highly recommend this location as it is close to restaurants and shops and a 15 minute drive to the coast, where the beaches are beautiful. Bus stops and the train station are within walking distance as well.

I LOVED EVERYTHING about this property! The owners take special care to see that things are maintained and that guests are comfortable.

This is just a wonderful place to stay.

This property is in the perfect location in town, it is spotlessly clean and very roomy. If you are going to Sarzana there is no reason not to stay here; it is outstanding. We have been traveling Italy for 10 years and have stayed in 8 places so far this trip. We have a lot to compare it to and have plenty of experience.

Charming. A perfect 10!

We spent two nights at Antica Dogana and the place was amazing. We loved the high brick ceiling, the marble floor and the decorations and comfort of the room. The bathroom was enormous and impeccable. The place was very clean and our host was helpful and very nice. Also the city was so charming. I truly recommend,

Room had an old world feel with classic decor in Dogana building. It was fully updated. Host was gracious and met all our needs. She took the time to explain the use of the facility’s equipment.

Alles bestens. Unkomplizierter Check-in. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Lage ist perfekt um die schöne Altstadt zu erkunden.

Bellissima esperienza…un po’ rumorosa

Abbiamo soggiornato un week end di luglio. In centro a Sarzana, in palazzo d’epoca con ascensore, camera nuovissima e climatizzata, molto ampia con vasca idromassaggio in stanza (che purtroppo non abbiamo utilizzato per mancanza di tempo avendo soggiornato solo una notte e avendo dato la precedenza al mare). Bagno enorme con doppio lavandino e grande doccia. Angolo tisane/caffe. Ilenia, la referente, incontrata all’arrivo per consegna chiavi e codici è stata molto accogliente e disponibile, anche a distanza tramite telefono/whatsapp.

Essendo in posizione centrale purtroppo è molto rumorosa, per traffico e chiasso h24

Ottimo appartamento, in struttura storica ma moderno e confortevole, al centro di Sarzana.

La posizione, centralissima, ma poi come la struttura è organizzata, lasciando all’ospite la possibilità di gestire in autonomia ingresso ed uscita dalla camera, incluso possibilità di uso dell’ascensore in caso di necessità (struttura al I piano con scale molto comode). Camera nuova, ben arredata con soluzioni stilistiche e tecniche all’avanguardia. Letto comodissimo.

Nulla, forse TV non perfetto ed internet un po’ lento. Ma per il resto tutto perfetto.

Tutto perfetto

La proprietaria gentilissima e accomodante, ci ha pure lasciato un pensierino natalizio oltreché un aperitivo con bottiglia di prosecco. La stanza molto pulita, elegante e calda nonostante la stagione fredda. Letto comodo e spazioso, e ultima, ma non per importanza, la vasca ha superato le nostre aspettative!

Il parcheggio, poiché la stanza è proprio nel centro di Sarzana, è un pó a fortuna.
