About this apartment rental
This upstairs, two-bedroom, two-bath condominium at Braemar offers both space and privacy for 2 to 4 guests. Max. sleep: 4. If more people show up at check-in time, the reservation will be denied. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, a smart TV, a closet, and a private full bath. A hallway leads to a bright open-plan space with a fully equipped kitchen that includes an eight-foot island counter, a dining and social area, and a smart TV. This area offers beautiful distant views of Cape Cod Bay through the sliding door that opens to a large private deck set up for morning coffee, dining, or just relaxing. Plenty of windows invite Cape Cod's ocean breezes and unique quality of light. The unit has A/C in the main living room and kitchen area, and one bedroom; the front bedroom has a fan and some A/C when the door is left open. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender, as well as plenty of dinnerware and utensils, including the traditional lobster pot. The Braemar Condominiums is a no-pets-allowed community. Guests are permitted one vehicle per unit. An additional vehicle is $10.00 per day. Five minutes to Provincetown and fifteen to Wellfleet offers easy access to dining, galleries, fine crafts, unique shopping, historic homes, whale watching, sailing, fishing charters, museums, concerts, a winery, a drive-in theatre, hiking and biking through forests and dunes, and miles of unspoiled bay and ocean beaches—and so much more. Located on the 'Flex Shuttle Bus' route means no need to drive and park in Provincetown as well as at many beach destinations. You can be picked up and dropped off right in front of the unit! And don't forget to make time to enjoy the 'park-like' open space at Braemar with picnic tables, grills, and the decked-out swimming pool. Fresh towels are provided; please bring towels for the beach and pool. We are a mile from Town Bay Beach and 2.5 miles to the National Seashore Head of Meadow Beach. Enjoy!

Love the location of the property- easy on/off shuttle into Ptown, close to Truro winery and beaches! Condo was not fancy but very clean and well equipped with pots, pans, etc. layout is awkward with having to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the living area/other room but it was fine with our group. The front bedroom doesn’t have blackout shades so it is bright as the sun rises in the morning- no problem if you want to get up and get going for a day at the beach! Pool is small but clean with plenty of chairs, grounds are nicely landscaped. Towel exchange daily so a bit like a hotel. Was getting nervous that we didn’t have any check in instructions until a few hours before we were due, would have been nice to get them the day before/a few days before like most rentals but not a huge deal.

Condo owners not to friendly. Weird to walk through one bedroom to get to the rest of condo. No ac in front bedroom and motion detection light went off a lot and light up the bedroom. Pool area was fantastic,,clean and enjoyable.

Yes, the unit has 2 bedrooms/2 baths. But, what is not made clear is that you ENTER the unit through the first bedroom. Which means people staying in the second bedroom have to walk through the first to get out. Put your late sleepers in bedroom 2! Some specifics:
1. Description said unit had AC. It did - but only in 1 bedroom and living area. Owners clearly knew this because they furnished 2 fans for the non-AC bedroom.
2. Dishwasher was broken the entire week. We realized on Tuesday and asked for it to be fixed. It wasn’t. When I told staff about it at the end of our stay, they said they tried to get a repairman, but couldn’t - like they were the victim.
3. Umbrellas on deck didn’t work - therefore limiting the time we could spend out there.
4. This is a real health and safety issue. Braemar was clearly a motel that was chopped up into vacation rental units. In the hallway connecting the bedrooms to the kitchen and living area there are steep steps down to a no longer used doors. There is no gate/barrier at the top of the stairs. This is especially dangerous seniors and little kids. This has got to be a code violation - I don’t know how they get away with it.
