Very clean and traditional/modern decor, was a lovely place to stay. Hosts were very friendly, as were all the other travellers. Very comfortable room. Although breakfast was delicious it was quite simple - cooked meats and cheese, bread, fruit and yogurt. Eggs cooked if you wanted them.

There was no fridge in the room and it was very warm, there was no air conditioning or cooling.

Everything about this hotel is absolutely excellent. It has been built to a very high quality standard and all the furnishings are similarly good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have had, with items of a high standard and locally sourced. It is located on the edge of a pretty village, full of character. It was a perfect stop having driven over the Stelvio Pass that afternoon. Our balcony had a view of the mountains in the distance. Excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to the Alps.

The road was under construction and the detour confusing but this is not something the gasthof can control. My husband is fluent in German so we found our way just fine. The gasthof was terrific !

Very pleasant stay with Lady Marianne

I liked Marianne and her daughter in law Simone. I also liked very much that the 2 small " hiccups" were immediatly taken care of. The breakfast in the very cosy breakfast room was outstanding.

At our arrival they didn’t give us the same room as we booked. Only after our complain they switched with a new and comfortable room.

Im Wc/Bad geht das Licht automatisch an. Bedingt durch eine Glasabtrennung zum Schlafbereich in der Nacht unangenehm und Schlafstörung.

Ruhiges Hotel in ländlicher Umgebung. Bestens geeignet für Wanderungen, Radfahren und Ausflüge.

Sehr herzliche, gastfreundliche Gastgeber. Das eingespielte Team ist grossartig. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl und aufgehoben. Moderne, heimelige Atmosphäre im ganzen Haus. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit guter Dusche und Abstellflächen. Einen grossen Radkeller vorhanden. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Garni Marianne als Home Base für Rennrad Touren am Stelvio

Als Home Base für Rennrad-Fahrten zum Stelvio war die Unterkunft perfekt geeignet. Die Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel sind neu renoviert, die Betten sehr komfortabel. Das Hotel hat eine Sauna im Keller, ein Traum nach einer langen, fordernden Tour. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, ein guter mix aus Süßem und Herzhaftem. Was mir noch wichtig war: es gibt einen Fahrrad-Abstellraum. Und wer tatsächlich ein E-Bike mitbringen sollte kann es dort auch aufladen.

Urlaub wie zu Hause

Alles - es war wie zu Hause. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Die gute Seele des Hauses , Marianne, hat alle Wünsche zum Frühstück erfüllt. Eierspeisen wurden immer frisch zubereitet mit Speck aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Joghurt, Obst, Gemüsesticks, frisch gebackener Kuchen - alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Sobald man das Hotel verlässt, ist man auf dem Etsch-Radweg und kann diesen in alle Richtungen (Meran und Reschensee) befahren. Auto kann den ganzen Urlaub stehen bleiben. Für die normalen Wanderwege können die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kostenlos mit der Vinschgau-Card genutzt werden. Ringsherum gibt es entsprechende Waal-Wege, die immer zum Wandern auffordern (leicht, mittel, schwer).
