Athens-Plaka, Peter’s beautiful apartment in Temple of Zeus

The apartment was beautiful and clearly belongs to someone that cares. The toiliteries and room diffuser was exquisite, the decor was boutique and really made you feel at home. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and it was so well appointed that we had access to everywhere we wanted to go litteraly outside the door. Communication with the host was superb. The apartment had everything we needed and with the personal recommendations of where to go etc. by the host and the brochures in the apartment we were perfectly equipped. For those travelling from the airport Blue line 3 is great and takes you to Syntagma square, which is only a 10 min walk from the apartment. We will be back and we will be telling our families and friends.

Beautiful apartment. Perfect location. Outstanding host. Comfortable, quiet, private.

Great location for Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Ancient Forum and Plaka (particularly the quieter parts away from the bustle). Despite the central location, the apartment is quiet (apart from the magpies!), looking on to a small square. If you do not have too much luggage, transit to and from the airport -- or Piraeus -- via subway to Syntagma is easy. Aliki was an excellent host with great communication. She recommends good local restaurants.

Very quiet but right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to all the major sights.

Furniture and decor is a little tired and kitchen was tiny.
