Great Stay In Athens

The property was an excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Plaka. Nikolas was great communicating with us, giving us the layout of Athens and how easy it was getting around. The apartment is sizable located near many restaurants. Easy access to the Acropolis and other sites in Athens. Most things we did were well within walking distance to the apartment. I would try to book this apartment as my first choice next time I'm in Athens.

The apartment was fantastic with wonderful amenities and wide open spaces to enjoy. The small balcony was great to relax watching with a cup of coffee or wine, and the rooftop terrace was a dream at night! Loved having CDs to play and enjoy authentic music as well!

The BEST property in Plaka!

This was my 3rd stay at this amazing property. I can’t say enough about the property and host. Everything was perfect! The property is spacious, clean, beautiful, and centrally located. Highlight is the upper deck with amazing views for drinks in the evening. If you prefer eating in, the kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need but when I travel we eat out and you will have many great choices within steps of the property. When I return to Athens this will be my only choice! Thank you Nikolas for being a Super Host!

- Polite, helpful and easy to access host - Located in Plaka the most vibrant and beautiful neighborhood of Athens, walking distance to the most important antiquities and museums of the city - Spacious, clean rooms, 3 bathrooms - Well decorated house - AMAZING terrace with view - So many excellent books (in Greek most of them) - A nice collection of music CDs (Italian, Greek and International music) to enjoy - Well equipped kitchen: there is EVERYTHING you can imagine, even if you need to offer a luxurious dinner to your friends/family - The house itself has history since it was the house where Greek poet Georgios Drosinis were born. - It wasn`t cheap, however given the crazy prices in Plaka, and the quality of the property you can say it was worthy

- Honestly, nothing. Ok, just to mention something, there is no microwave oven which could be useful ( to heat lasts night`s pizzas leftovers fast :-) )

Another amazing stay at this property!

First off, we are returning guests. Nikolas is an outstanding host and makes navigating Athens and Plaka effortless. The house is spacious and pristine. The refrigerator is stocked with a few welcome beverages and all the major sites are walkable. Highly recommend this place to stay!

The most perfect apartment

Stunning location. The whole apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated. Situated right in the heart of the old town. The rooftop terrace had a simply amazing and unobstructed view of the Acropolis. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to come back again.

Great for family, friends and solo travelers.

Our host, Nicholas was very responsive, friendly and professional. The house was located in a very convenient location for sightseeing, shopping and dining. It covered all. Very family friendly as well. The sight of Acropolis from the terrace and the bedroom was just magnificent and could stay and look forever. We had breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening. Just lovely memory.

As they had a soccer match the night we stayed for the first night, some drunk people were being loud outside. And a couple was arguing loudly. It could be a bit noisy but ok.

A perfect home in an unbelievable location and kind host!

Our host was welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. We left very early on our last day and he met us at 5:30am to wish us safe travels. The location is beyond amazing, minutes to everything by walking. View, great! The entire home with rooftop was spectacular. Would recommend over and over!

Excellent location and clean spacious accommodation

The location of the apartment was perfect and we had everything we needed for the four of us. Spacious and clean. We were right in the heart of everything. A very short walk to restaurants and shopping and seeing the sights. We loved sitting out on the rooftop terrace overlooking the back of the acropolis! The owner was very nice and quick to respond to questions.

Athens perfection!

Brilliant location, huge house with quality fittings throughout. The rooftop deck was quite unbelievable! Nikolas was always quick to reply if we had a question. I can't remember a better place to stay in all our travels, I can't recommend it highly enough!

Because of its central location it could be a little noisy at night. Otherwise perfect!

Breathtaking Views with 5-Star Hospitality and Perfect Location

This property was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! So spacious with amazing natural lighting from the windows. Nice size rooms with HUGE and luxurious bathrooms. The views were possibly the most spectacular part of this place, with a lovely terrace to look out at the Acropolis. Three of us stayed here and had plenty of space to coexist. The Acropolis entrance was only a five minute walk away, and most other sites (Agora, Flea Market) were 10 minutes walk away. Nicholas the host went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. He sent a taxi to get us from the airport and met us at the place to show us around and make sure everything was to our liking. Then, when the taxis were on strike on our way to leave, he arranged for a friend to drive us in his personal car to the airport. WOW! Could not recommend this place more. Incredible hospitality, breathtaking views, and perfect amenities. Best stay I've ever had.

Beautiful space near Acropolis with stunning rooftop views of Acropolis.

Nicholas is very friendly, helpful and communicative. The apartment is private and very large, with 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms, and everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the view of the acropolis from the rooftop, particularly at night, iis amazing. The apartment is perfectly located to the archaeological sites, restaurants, and acropolis metro station.

The property was amazing, views for days. Located within steps to many sites, restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed relaxing every evening on the rooftop with views of the acropolis.

Amazing, spacious house in the center of Plaka!

The house was in a great location. Every tourist attraction was within walking distance. The house itself was super clean, organized, and the host provided some essentials to get you through your stay (water, coffee pods, etc.). Host was easy to communicate with, very prompt with responses and helpful with calling taxis when needed. In addition, the rooftop terrace and balcony were great to relax on at night. I would stay here again and will be recommending this house to anyone traveling to Athens!

Perfect location in the heart of Plaka with an amazing view of the Acropolis!

Everything about the House at the Foothills of Acropolis was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spacious and clean and met all of our needs. We loved the roof garden with an amazing view of the acropolis. The location is right in the middle of Plaka with close proximity to restaurants and shops. Nikolas was attentive and available to us. We would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!

This jewel convinces by the combination of location and beauty, enabling a true Greek feeling!

If you want to be able to visit most attractions of Athens by food, stay in the heart of the city but still have a place to retreat and enjoy the beauty of the city, this is your choice. The flat is spacious, very tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped, you lack of nothing! We particularly enjoyed the large roof top terrace with view of the Acropolis, and even more the balcony overlooking a small place with restaurants and a large tree, resembling more a village than the center of the megalo-city of Athens. Nikolas is a fantastic host, making your stay as easy as possible, very quick in his responses and full of good advices and tips.

Beautiful and big apartment in the heart of Plaka

It was the perfect location with a roof terrace overlooking Akropolis. Host was very friendly and had lots of tips about what to do and where to go. The apartment was very tasteful and also had a personal touch. We could have stayed there for much longer.

It was a bit noisy when garbage was collected but it does with the perfect location.
