This location was just amazing. It was very private, quiet and safe, but close to EVERYTHING. We walked everywhere, including to the Acropolis, and there were great restaurants very close by, as well as the flea market and a small supermarket. When we left, we took the X95 bus to the airport, and again, we walked to the stop in Syntagma Square at 4:30 am in the morning. Very safe. The street that the property was on felt very quiet (birds were chirping away) even though there were restaurants on the street. And when you entered the property itself, it was a welcoming, soothing sanctuary. The app-generated key was perfect. Lots of towels, and mats for the bathroom floor, a beautiful kitchen, TV in living AND bedroom, patio to sip coffee (which was included). We had a ground floor apartment, but there was a LIFT for the apartments on higher floors. Even though we never met Ioanna, her customer service was thoughtful and prompt. Before we arrive in Athens, she offered to arrange for a taxi to the apartment because there was a taxi strike, that we were not even aware of. We took the metro instead, and it was an easy transfer, with about an 8 minute walk from Monastiriki station. This property was a vacation haven, and a pleasure to return to every time.
The bathroom is lovely, but the glass separating the shower from the rest of the room is about 6 inches too short. Consequently, every time someone took a shower, the bathroom floor got wet. Luckily, we found extra bathroom mats to help mitigate that.

“Communication with the host was seamless, and accessing the apartment via the key app was incredibly easy and convenient — it suited us perfectly. We absolutely loved the location: tucked away on a quiet street, yet just a short walk from the lively atmosphere of Plaka. We were able to walk almost everywhere, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. A special mention for the bed — it was exceptionally comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The location is superb, right in the heart of Plaka and within easy walking distance of the Acropolis, restaurants, cafes and shops. Despite being so central, the apartment felt peaceful and secure.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped for everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the space felt authentic yet modern.
Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. The digital key system worked smoothly and all instructions were clear and helpful. We felt very well looked after throughout.
Overall, a brilliant base for exploring Athens and the islands. Highly recommended.
The only small point worth mentioning is that we had misunderstood the listing and thought our apartment would have a balcony. Some of the upper apartments do have them, but ours did not. It was not an issue during our stay, but the listing could perhaps make that distinction a little clearer to avoid confusion, as we genuinely assumed it was included.
