Broken Toilet seats, very dangerous stair rail, no kitchen sink plug, upstairs bathroom shower handle broken, old hair and dirt etc next to door on floor, cracking paint & dry rot in timber upstairs, 23 dead pot plants on the balcony everywhere. Sudden lack of communication until my husband told John he repaired the toilet seat & handrail.

The location was ideal--right in the heart of The Plaka. Loved the rooftop patio. It was great for playing cards. Great view of The Acropolis at night. Cute decor.

The shower curtain in the main bathroom was not well fitted and allowed water to gather on the floor. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom was not properly attached and moved considerably during use.

Only a small negative. Master bedroom aircon was not working properly - I saw this in an earlier review, so presumed it would be fixed. This is an older property and we knew that their could be some issues.

Large, beautiful apartment in heart of old town with acropolis views.would definitely stay here again

Fantastic location in the heart of old town. Roof top is huge with acropolis view. If not so hot we would have used it. Beds were plentiful and comfy to accommodate our group of 4. Large apartment. Most of the AC (all but1) were excellent. Front balcony overlooking bustling shopping street was lovely for coffee.

Getting luggage up stairs was the only negative but it was also expected in old town.

The place is older, would be very difficult for those with orthopedic issues, a lot of steps to apt. Alao a winding stair case to top floor would be difficult for some. Unfortunately top floor bedroom does not have a central air unit so it was quite warm. We choose not to sleep up there due to the temps

Spacious apartmnent in an excellent location. Highly recommended.

The location was ideal, the apartment spacious and clean. The spiral staircase a little tricky for seniors! We were highly satisfied.

The only complaint is that the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. Tried in several different outlets. But I'm sure it will be replaced promptly.

Lovely Villa but not the stairs. Location was perfect.

The location was fantastic. The Villa itself was fine. What was not ok was I specifically asked about stairs to a man I will call John, as that was his name, (as 1 pregnant woman, 1 with arthritic knees and 1 recovering from surgery to both feet) and was told we will meet you on arrival to assist with luggage. Advised many times what time we were arriving, tried to call in the Uber on the way there 3 times with no answer. Of course no one was there to meet us and I was given an apology by text. I didn’t want an apology I wanted the help I requested. Also on entering the apartment find the spiral staircase is for the 3rd bedroom, something that was never mentioned as I would not have booked this apartment. Was told the spiral staircase is in the photos, it is but was never told it’s for a bedroom, not a staircase to use for the view. On the 3rd day I received a Good Morning text. I am so sick of being told “let us know if you need anything and happy to help with anything” and when you get there they are as scarce as hens teeth. If you have any problems with stairs this is not the place for you using a 3rd bedroom.

Magic cal, perfect, beautiful and convenient

I can’t even explain how awesome, how magical and how perfect the location of this apartment is. It was close to everything, this part of the city was so safe and welcoming. Everything was provided for the apartment and we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again..

Large, comfortable apartment in central location

The apartment was perfectly located for sightseeing. It's within 5 minutes of the entrance to the Acropolis and many other tourist sites. Its central location meant that we were able to sightsee in the morning, come back for lunch and a siesta with the kids, then head back out in the afternoon well-rested. The apartment itself is large and we were able to spread out (we were 6 in total). It is a bit dated but clean, with a nice balcony and roof-top patio. The winding staircase to the upper floor can be a bit tough to maneuver with luggage, and the upstairs bathroom is pretty basic, the shower being a showerhead next to the toilet. The downstairs bathroom is more spacious and modern, so we all ended up using that shower instead. The floor of the upstairs bedroom/loft has a number of different heights, i.e. steps, so you really need to be careful as you're moving around, especially in the dark, so as not to misstep. This would definitely be a safety hazard for anyone with impaired mobility. The host was very responsive and helped us arrange transport at the end of our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

The kitchen was bare-bones with very few dishes or cooking implements. It could use more plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, etc., as well as some basic kitchen consumables.

Plaka Apartment

The location was excellent. The neighborhood was very pedestrian friendly with lots of restaurants, shopping and historical sites nearby. Easy walk to the Acropolis. Check in and our was easy. The terrace with view was enjoyable.

It could have been cleaner. It would have been nice if there was laundry detergent for the washer available. The wifi was not very consistent or fast.
