Perfect location right in the middle of all the action. Comfortable apartment.

Fantastic location and lovely apartment with very well equipped kitchen and comfy sitting room. Comfy beds with new mattresses and nice en-suite to the double bedroom. Very quiet at night although in a busy shopping street by day.

It wasn’t clear before we booked that there were a lot of stairs to the apartment which was on the second floor and there was no lift. Could’ve been a problem with suitcases to carry upstairs as there is not help there as it’s self service keys.

The location was excellent. The apartment was well outfitted, clean, and lovely decor.

It was frustrating to find the key in the lock box. With travel, we didn’t receive the instructions until after we had arrived and we fumbled around to locate the apartment. A local shopkeeper helped us find the lock box. I would suggest sending these key details earlier than the day of arrival. Without internet or local sim, we were clueless about these important details. I think a note on the bathroom with instructions on how to access the hot water would be helpful, too.

The location was amazing!

We booked a 2 bedroom, but the owner decided we only needed one, so had locked the 2nd bedroom and I had to sleep on the couch after a 36 hour trip from Canada. I always careful choose accommodations based on our needs, but several of the advertised amenities were not available. For example, the 2nd night we were getting ready to go out for dinner and I couldn’t find the iron or the clothes rack to dry our laundry. I contacted the owner who said she could come in an hour to an hour and a half. Not great when we wanted to go out. The sheet was missing from the main bedroom—just a very stiff and scratchy blanket to cover yourself with. The beds in the 2nd bedroom were very uncomfortable. When we arrived the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, so made us wonder what else wasn’t cleaned. Also, when we arrived (after midnight)we had to produce a 100 Euro deposit (which I’ve never encountered and didn’t see in the fine print). The only way to get it back was to meet with owner and pass the check out inspection. All of this was extremely inconvenient and severely hampered our ability to do what we wanted when we wanted. It was a very strange and disappointing experience. We have stayed in many other private apartments in our travels and never encountered any of these difficulties.
