Restful River Bungalow

We spent 3 wonderful days at this establishment, run by a very friendly family who were deeply attentive to our well-being, even worried enough about our transportation that they insist to handle. Again, a big thank you to them! 🍀 We quickly felt like home. The accommodation is modest but very welcoming, giving you that feeling of a little piece of paradise on earth. We were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. The foot was excellent, just like the massage, which I highly recommend. Everything was great. If we had to do it all over again, I would definitely book at Restful River Bungalow.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice views over the river and mountains, refreshing swimming pool. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff can arrange transportation (eg to Paradise and Dark cave) for reasonable prices (750k full day).

It’s a bit outside town but you can borrow bikes.

The restaurant/bar was non-existent. Breakfast was included, but tea, coffee, water etc with breakfast was not - and drinks cost as much as breakfast! The bar didn’t have any beer - only drink on offer was vodka and coke. Take it or leave it. The only evening we ate here we ordered Jerk steak with chips and salad from the menu. however we were served stir fried beef with pineapple and rice. when we pointed out that we hadn’t ordered this we were told that the chef made a mistake but wouldn’t cook anything else - we were still charged full price!!
