Nice location, good facilities near to hand, beach,shop,club house and swimming pool. Nice powerful shower and really nice holiday park.

We really liked the property but I think it could do with a few small touches like toaster, and some cooking trays would be really helpful.

Lovely as always

Love the location! It's so close to Barmouth and talybont beach is within walking distance. The pub up the road is also amazing! Shell Island is a 20 min drive away, which is also incredible. We stayed in this caravan last year and although dated, has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, the site is lovely. We don't use it much as we're always out, off site. But the amusements and pool are lovely. We had the fish and chips last time skipped it this time as you can deffo get better, it's quite expensive for what it is and it gave everyone belly ache last time.

It wasn't as clean as last time. Only minor gripes, there was a stain on the sofa covers, down the side of the sofa we found stones and the hoover was left out. It looked like it was cleaned in a hurry.

A weekend away

The caravan was in a great position, close to kids park which was great. Minutes away from amenities, which was also good.

Overpriced items in the shop. The wrong information was supplied for gaining access to the park, which meant we had to walk with all our things to the caravan. Until we could find someone to give us the correct access number.

Location was great, swimming pool was great as weather wasn't too good when we were there

We picked this accommodation as it said it had a bbq. When we arrived there was no bbq and also no instructions on how to use the oven! There was also no welcome pack where booking advised we would be given one

Lovely location

The location was stunning with mountains on one side and the beach on the other. The caravan park was family friendly with a swimming pool, playground and amusements for the children. The caravan was clean with all amenities needed for self catering.

Dissapointed

Great location, extremely close to the beach.

Accommodation fair as generally clean, but poor upkeep, microwave extremely rusty on the inside, needs replacing, rusty fireplace, some damage to seating area. Flooring poor in places, heating worked great but stains and rust on radiators. Clean duvet sheets but dirty bedding with unacceptable stains on mattress protectors and duvets. Ants in bedrooms and kitchen. Dodgy oven door. No oven trays. Unfortunately no hot water on the last morning, but previously plenty of hot water and decent shower.

Excellent location, all facilities good, clean beddings provided but bed and pillows are horrible covered with dust, good size of siting area but its out dated minking there is new carpet ok, we gone for two nights unfortunately dust inside the caravan feel sick the people kids sneezing, so we left after one night, cant stay on Sunday night due to the dust and damp, there is lot of dehumidifier placed on the caravan but i don't think so its works😑

Telaxing stay by the beach

Great location right next to a lovely beach & town fantastic place to take the kids fishing or crabbing the pool & staff are lovely here. no fights or troubles very quite at night overall a nice place to relax

I wouldn’t say it’s a dislike but the check in although way easy and effortless I would say the owner should email perhaps the key code for the key safe and the gate entrance code and inform visitors this is a private booking not arranged through the holiday park

great weekend lovley spacious caravan great location lovley site plenty to do .beach stones throw away and obliging host

caravan spacious beds were comfortable .good location seating outside was good .it was day of queens funeral we was vacating property and we messaged Host cud we vacate caravan a little later he very kindly let us stay a bit longer .

on first day and a half two of our family was coughing /sneezing /chesty .we opens the door and some windows .we was thinking maybe the people before us had dog/dogs ?just a thought but maybe the furniture /carpet needs a more Thora clean like a steam clean for future guests with asthma or breathing problems .otherwise fabulous holiday.

Good for a short break

The location was good and the parking for the static home was conveniently next to the home. Static home was good, nothing exceptional but a good size and well equipped.

The holiday park was a little basic, not what we expected. Was under the impression that there was entertainment etc. but there wasn't which was a shame. Was a little expensive for a 3 night stay in a caravan when there wasn't really anything entertaining on site other than an old arcade and a pub just showing football matches.

Great location, reasonable accommodation

Barmouth Bay is in an amazing location in mid Wales with direct beach access. The beach is huge and spotlessly clean. The park is fairly small with limited facilities on site (basic pool, but never too full); there is a nice restaurant on a neighbouring site (5 minute walk) and a shop selling basics as well as food takeaway options. The van itself was pretty clean although some bits were a bit tired and perhaps need updating. The owners replied quickly to any questions. Overall, reasonable value for money.

Some confusion accessing the van on arrival as it wasn't clear that there were 2 key safes, but that was easily remedied, and staff on site were very helpful. The mattresses aren't terribly comfortable and the kitchen isn't really equipped for people who actually want to cook (no baking tray, most pans had food burned onto the bases etc) but it was reasonable for the price and the location.

Situation excellent. Enjoyed swimming pool and the beach.

No toilet roll. No bath mat, so slipping in bathroom. No vacuum to clear up properly. Taps hot and cold back to front. All seemed a little tired. Bbq had rust on so wouldn't use. See picture..looked for fishwasher but none.

Ideal situation for families as right next to the park and football pitch. 25 metres from swimming pool, 150 metres from beach and arcades/entertainment.

Needs a bit of updating, new bedding, sheets as stained, kitchenware.

overpriced

first impression wasn’t great, the door catches on the steps when you open and close it, ants in the kitchen and bathroom, barbecue outside was rusty and inside was full of fag ends, no blinds or curtains over either door or bathroom window. the curtains in the main seating area didn’t cover all the windows, we had to put up a sheet to get total privacy, and finally no blackout blinds in the bedrooms. we left a day early as I hadn’t had hardly any sleep for 3 days.

Bad

The bed was comfy

Said towels were provide but none were there so we had to dry our children with bed linen. There were no oven gloves and the curtains didnt fit all the way round the window so there was no privacy. Only 2 loo rolls were provided so not enough for a family of 6 for 3 nights. Pool was an issue as we couldn't all use it together. There was no mountain view either despite it saying there would be.
