New Town Guest House (Adults Only)

The location, 'Bohemian Stockbridge is an excellent location for exploring Edinburgh central and Dean Village. The residence was perfect from all aspects!

Location was great. Lovely area.

We didn’t receive the code we were promised to gain entry. Had to rely on someone letting us in. Seemed to be an inconvenience

The rooms were clean and there was a good coffee machine. The location was reasonably central. The room wasn’t too small.

No check-in email so no key box code sent. The guy who let me in was utterly bizarre and needs to practice his customer skills majorly. I’d suggest he is kept away from customers and he wears clothes other than slippers, dungarees and a grubby tee shirt …and really tries to pretend he likes people/guests. The communal sitting room smelt very strange/unpleasant and was furnished like a junk shop, I don’t think I’d want to sit in any of the chairs as they look so like something you’d see dumped on the pavement. The first person up in the building wakes everyone else up when any water is used. Maybe paint the place so it doesn’t look like a rundown student flat in colours that aren’t yellow and black. I didn’t unpack because there was only a hanging rail for clothes. If you’re larger than average you won’t fit in the shower.
