A gorgeous property with a beautifully decorated living area as you walk in. The proprietors are nice and friendly, very helpful. I loved the chocolate covered wafers that were in the room. Nice comfortable bed. Near a bus stop, a few stop bus ride from Edinburgh's main station. Quiet area with various cafes around, and walkable to everywhere.
I didn't expect the room was downstairs (in the basement as it were); it had a nicely decorated terrace area which I didn't use due to the season (April -- it was still pretty cold).

A beautiful unique place to stay in an ideal location! The hosts made us feel really welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here the next time we visit Edinburgh.

Thank you David for being such a nice host. We loved Edinburg, and this room in the middle of the city was finely decorated, very charming, the best most confortable. We just hoped we had a parking spot (which seems difficult in Edinburg, but we found one 10mn away by walking) and breakfast, but we discovered very nice coffees nearby. I highly recommend this lovely place.
