Best Edinburgh stay!

The house it’s just lovely, I was so sad to leave! Comfortable room, 20 minutes walking to old city center, many restaurants and bar close by! I really recommend it!!!

Absolutely beautiful place, the room was lovely and the house as a whole was remarkable. I would definitely come back for another stay.

Beautiful, quirky boutique hotel in excellent location

Location was perfect and property was gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and unique. David and his wife were very kind and accommodating.

Shower pressure was very poor and the room was pretty warm the first two nights.

The host was so helpful and personable. Always happy to assist us find our way around and give advice. Quite different from a hotel experience.

Perfect choice to stay and reviews are spot on.

Perfect location to walk around and see all the main attractions. Restaurants near by were great! David and May are wonderful hosts that helped me out with any inquiries, and always responded quickly to my messages. Beautiful accommodations also.

No complaints. Only some stairs to manage but they’re very helpful if needed.

The owners were absolutely friendly and accommodating and made the guest feel very welcome and well cared for.

The house is gorgeous, super clean and the owners are very kind. It's very well located and you cand find coffee, tea, milk and a kettle in the compartment next to the bed.

I wish the orange cat appeared sooner! :p Visually speaking, the mirror-like furniture in the bedroom it's a little "confusing".

The room has a distinctive charm of its own. Interestingly decorated and spacious. Excellent (above expectations) bathroom. Charming residence altogether.

In details it could have been a bit cleaner - but indeed not a problem. Bed linen a bit warm for summer temperatures.

Exceptional room in a perfect location to access nearby attractions

What an amazing place, from the moment we arrived we were blown away with this lovely property. The whole building was stunning we loved the location, very clean and beautifully decorated room. The jacuzzi bath and having access to an outdoor courtyard was an added bonus. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive, providing us with a little fridge for our wine and wine glasses. David helpfully pointed us in the direction of little cafe for breakfast just across the road. We loved meeting the pets, felt like a home from home thank you.

Everything to be honest! Such a beautiful property. So peaceful, yet so close to Princes Street. Came with my teen daughter for shopping & sight seeing. We were welcomed by our host David who was just great. He had allowed us to drop our bags early & when we returned he’d put them in our rooms & hung our coats in the wardrobe. We’d mentioned we’d be bringing a bottle of wine back & so he put wine glasses in our room. The room was just ‘wow’! Exceptionally clean. Beautifully furnished. Quality bedding & towels! Best nights sleep ever on that amazing bed. Fresh coffee as well as instant & a bag of chocs were much appreciated. Loved the hot tub bath. Enjoyed meeting the cat too.

The location was great and made the city very walkable. The room and bed were very conformable and gave us ample space to open up our larger luggage. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags before and after checkout.

This place was absolutely fantastic. You could not fault it. It was exceptional in every way. Spotlessly clean and comfortable beyond words. Location was perfect with easy access to everywhere. Hosts were considerate and helpful. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Totally unique, beautiful accommodation that the hosts should be proud of.

Outstanding character property, decorated and furnished to a fabulous standard. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a superb city centre location. My room was quiet with very little traffic noise. Hosts were great, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty. I rarely go to the same place twice but would be delighted to return here and to explore Edinburgh.

No ordinary Room in the City !

The central location was fantastic, as was the reception by David and May who cannot do enough for all their guests, in every department. A truly memorable stay in very beautiful accommodation, highly accessible to all central sights & facilities and a short walk down to the Waters of Leith. Perfect ?
