Great stop for adventure

Our hosts were cheerful, helpful and gracious. They really made us feel they wanted us to have a great time in there beautiful city. The breakfasts were served in the garden and top notch with something new and special every day.. The location is superb. Easy access to Place Ducal, parks and, best of all, the Meuse River voie verte. Had fantastic time exploring the region by bicycle. The kitchenette was small but adequate for our needs. Had a couple of very hot days but host set up a fan that cooled us enough that we slept well.

The unit is spacious and perfectly finished with a comfortable bed and dining table. The breakfast is wholesome and generous and discreetly provided in the morning so that you can eat at leisure. Hosts Cécile and Jauko are both very friendly and discreet. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The B & B is situated in the quiet suburb Montcy-Saint-Pierre, which overlooks Charleville-Mezières across the river Meuse at a walking distance of about 20 minutes. In sum, the B&B is a perfect starting point for people who want to discover Rimbaud's birthplace, a surprisingly pleasant and historically interesting town in the hilly French Ardennes region.

home-made breakfast. Very kind hosts, happy to explain, give tips, reserve restaurant. Parking possible in the street in front of house. 10-15min walk to the very city centre.

Most restos on the main square and really needed to be booked in order to get place in the eve.

A quiet place only a short walk to the town centre.

Really helpful friendly hosts. Large room with a kitchen area outside, with fridge and sink. A great breakfast was brought up and left with you, ours included freshly made crepes.

Property is on a residential street so you are parking on-street if there is a spot. If one not available outside the property then it was never a problem to park around the corner.

Superb

The property is located in a residential area (plenty of on-street parking) about 20-25 mins walk from the Place Ducale. There are plenty of restaurants in this impressive square. We had a triple room on the second floor which was spacious although the bathroom was quite small. The host(s) was very welcoming and provided an amazing breakfast - fresh bread, pancakes, croissants, home-made jam, yoghurt, melon, black currant juice, coffee etc.

Zeer aangename B&B

De sfeer, de vriendelijkheid van de gastheer en -vrouw - zeer attente mensen. Afgesloten garage voor de fietsen. Voldoende gratis parkeerplaats in de straat. Er is een heel proper gezamenlijk keukenhoekje met frigo en vriesvakje. Basic frans ontbijtje, maar wel met lokale producten en lekker brood. Zeer rustige kamers. 15' te voet tot de Place Ducale.

De beide kamers bevinden zich op de bovenste verdieping, zonder airco (vrij warm), via trap. Er zijn veel schuine dakkanten.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig in Nähe der Altstadt. Liebevoll hergerichtete Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Sehr nette Gastgeber und gutes Frühstück. Gastgeber sehr offen für Fragen und Informationen. Nur zu empfehlen.

Un chouette séjour dans les ardennes.

Une superbe chambre, à 15 minutes de marche de la place ducale. La qualité du logement doit être mis en avant. Des lits confortables avec une parure moderne et élégante. Une salle de bain propre avec une douche vitrée moderne (ps je déteste les rideaux de douche :) ). Un petit déjeuner offrant plusieurs produits respectueux de la nature.

Een aanrader voor fietsvrienden van de Maas

Ontbijt was prima in orde werd op de kamer gebracht..de kamer met eigen badkamer was ruim opgezet.Je moet wel goed terrein zijn, wij moesten 2 trappen op maar dan had je ook wat Onze fietsen stonden in de garage ,waren we heel blij mee.
