A peaceful and charming retreat in a beautiful setting. We loved every moment.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful chateau. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its charm and serene surroundings. The location is ideal. Peaceful and picturesque, yet conveniently close to nearby attractions.

We genuinely enjoyed every aspect of our stay. There was nothing we didn’t like. It’s a place we’d happily return to and recommend to others looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

Fantastic Host, beautiful house with amazing view- Perfect stay !!

Very close to the Castle and the centre, beautiful environment, fantastic terrace, comfortable, very nice French breakfast and very agreeable hosts ! I loved it and whenever I come back to Sedan I will stay there ! Florence was a very nice hostess and I loved how she organised her terrace with all her plants and lemon trees and how she is such an animal lover ! Big up to her goats, Hortense and Jade and to her cats and wandering squirrels ! Thank you so much for this short but great stay !

Lovely stylish room and friendly host

Lovely large stylish room with sofa seating area with TV and a large comfortable bed with quality bedding. The bathroom and toilet were within the room but the toilet was enclosed so completely private. Everything was very clean and the hostess Florence was lovely and very friendly / helpful. There was private parking to the rear and a lovely seating area to use at the front of the house. Quality tea and coffee was provided as was bottled water. Breakfast was served in the room at a well set up dining area.

Breakfast could be improved slightly with fresh local cheese, some ham or sausage (for my non cheese eating partner) and some fruit / yoghurt / boiled eggs. The bread and pastries however were excellent.

Lovely, unique villa with very kind hosts.

We arrived with our bicycles in the rain. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. What a wonderful villa. We could park our e-bikes in the garage. The uniquely decorated rooms were on the top floor of the house. Very private and spacious. The rooms offered a lot of comfort with a separate dining table and seating area. And the breakfast tenets morning, delivered a our door was the best. A petit dejeuner with lovely French bread from the local bakery. In walking distance several restaurants are available for dinner. Definitely a place to come back to. Thank you Florence.

Great place to stay in Sedan. Close for walking but quiet and scenic.

Wonderful stay. Spent the night here at the end of a long road trip and the hosts were so friendly. They helped us get a reservation at a nice restaurant in town and provided and a filling breakfast directly to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and quiet despite being next to the road. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very helpful proprietors, convenient location for town centre, characterful small town useful as stopover for those travelling from England around lunchtime. Followed their restaurant advice, which they were kind enough to book for us upon arrival.

We loved the location and the beautiful garden setting.

We didn't like the decor, a bit OTT for us! Also, the ensuite facilities were haphazard.

Lovely, relaxing stay.

The hosts were very friendly and let me park the motorbike in the garage as rain was forecast. If you're traveling by bike, I always feel secure parking is essential and the gates to parking are very secure.

very comfortable stay

The location is perfect to the Sedan castle. The room is comfortable and big enough to stay a week. The huis is surrounded by huge garden and we could enjoy relaxing at the terrace which is also very big. The host are very friendly😊

The only thing to comment is a bit high step to the shower place. The shower itself is good.

The only thing that was a bit lacking was that we had to wait in the street for the owner until 17.30 to check in. A bit late in my opinion. The bed was a bit small.

Brilliant you must visit

We arrived early and panicked Laurent, but he made us feel extremely welcome. The gardens and rooms are magical and have an enchanted feeling. I would like to return here next year it’s so good. The location is fantastic for accessing the Sedan Fortress, down a hill and your in the town. Secure parking for a motorcycle so all good.

Florence and Lucerne were lovely hosts and we felt very welcome and comfortable

The room was quirky and the breakfast was delicious and served to your room. There was also private parking

Fantastic, Really good. well worth a visit

A truly gorgeous property, the welcome we received was great, both the owners made us feel very much welcome, everything was absolutely top notch, only a 5 minute walk from town, the room was big, airy and very clean, tea and coffe facilities were just outside the room, very welcome! the house is absolutely gorgeous, with a big patio area overlooking the the castle. The owners were very attentive but not intrusive, we fely we could of requested anything and they would do their best to provide, a massive THANK YOU for a lovely stay, would recommend to everyone looking for a great experience. Well worth a visit.

Lovely couple and good location. Gardens were nice.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was breakfast. Most we stayed at have given us a little more variety than bread and espresso. Many travels are using breakfast to have late and having one other meal during the day. This wasn’t possible with bread and coffee.

Wonderful fully restored villa with gorgeous finishing touches, I loved the carpenters workbench converted to a sink and the singer sewing machine as the TV stand and breakfast was superb

L'accueil a été immédiatement chaleureux et bienveillant. Nous avons pu bénéficier d'une jolie terrasse pour nous détendre et partager un moment convivial en famille . Notre hôte a fait montre d'une grande générosité pour nous préparer la terrasse, nous apporter des verres. Elle nous a conseillé un restaurant et nous a proposé de réserver une table pour nous. C'est appréciable de se sentir aussi bien considérés.

Mooie villa met leuke terrashoekjes en zicht op het fort. Kort bij het centrum

De ligging was top om te gaan fietsen, op 1,5 km van de Maas. Zicht op het fort . Op wandelafstand van het centrum mer vele restaurants. Lekkere koffie en vers ontbijt. Eigenares was heel vriendelijk en we mochten onze fietsen opladen in een afgesloten garage. Privé parking.

Een muggenraam zou welkom zijn. De villa lag langs een vrij drukke weg maar om te slapen met raam dicht, geen probleem. De matras was voor ons te hard. Het ontbijt was vers maar sober , verse jam , wat meer beleg en geperst fruitsap zou fijn zijn alsook niet op de kamer maar in een eetruimte van de living zouden we leuker vinden.

Die Lösung mit dem Badezimmer wäre zu überdenken. Die Funktion ist vorhanden aber etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Gute Lage gegenüber des Chateau Fort de Sedan, kurzer Fußweg zur Stadt. Schönes Haus mit Garten. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Die Zimmer befinden sich im 2 Stock und sind mit vielen Accessoires ausgestattet.

Die Toilette war nur mit einem Vorhang abgetrennt, was etwas ungewöhnlich war.

Tout était au top. Séjour dans le cadre de la fête médiéval au château de sedan. Super bel accueil. Nous avons été agréablement surpris. Le must petit déjeuner en chambre. Café et thé disponible h24 dans le couloir. Parking sécurisé. Nous y retournons l année prochaine

Mooi huis met grote tuin, aardige mensen, fietsen konden in de garage.

- de kamer was ruim maar stond vol met te veel tierlantijntjes - kamer en badruimte waren gescheiden met gordijntje. Een deur was fijner geweest - ontbijt was karig, typisch Frans - je moet er niet heen gaan als je moeilijk trappen kunt lopen - geen vluchtroute bij brand

Très bonne localisation. Parfait pour visiter le château et le centre ville. Chambre originalement décorée. Hôtesse très accueillante. Très bon Petit déjeuner

Très bon emplacement pour les promenades

Emplacement génial en face du château de Sedan, à peine 5 min à pieds et on se retrouve dans la cour du château. Le petit déjeuner est servi à l'entrée de la chambre et il y a une belle table dressée dans la chambre pour le petit-déjeuner. A peine 17 min de Corbion.
