The Stables - Fabulous stylish flat in Merchant City & Free Secure Parking

- Excellent communication before arrival, with detailed step-by-step instructions for accessing both the parking and the flat. - Recently renovated and nicely decorated throughout. - Plenty of storage in the main bedroom, making it suitable for longer stays. - Bathroom was well stocked with towels, spare toilet rolls, hand wash, shower gel and a bath mat. - Kitchen had everything needed, including a fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and dining table. - Very comfortable lounge with a large L-shaped sofa and snuggle chair. - Roku TV, books, games and useful information about the flat and local area were appreciated. - Fantastic location – around a 10-minute walk to Glasgow city centre and just 2 minutes from the Red Bus Tour stop. - Overall, the flat had everything we needed and was a great base for our stay.

- The checkout information doesn't mention that you'll need the gate key to leave the car park if you're using the parking space. - The flat is on the third floor with no lift, which may be difficult for some guests. - The main bedroom is advertised as having a king-size bed, but it was a double. We also found the mattress far too firm and didn't sleep well during our two-night stay. - The main bedroom became very warm, even with the window open, and a fan would have been useful. -The instant coffee had gone hard and the sugar contained lumps/bits, suggesting they were past their best. - Cleanliness was generally acceptable, but there was hair and lint in the bath, grease and dust on the cooker extractor, and visible dust on the large window ledge. - The bed comfort and the cleanliness were the main aspects that let the property down.

On top floor no lift about 6 flights up a nightmare with bags. Building work being done plaster dust everywhere on the stairs and banisters. They were paining as we left so should be finished soon.

Was an ideal central location alright amenities

The bathroom could use a absolutely deep clean there was black mold in the shower and round the bath and it looked like urine staining on the floor for the price expected a lot better
