This cottage is within driving distance to many points of interest in Southwest Ireland (Limerick, Dingle, Cashel, and many more). The location is safe and very quiet. It's a cozy comfortable place to make your home base. The owner and property manager are very responsive to calls and requests. The kitchen is modern and the washing machine and dryer worked perfectly for us. We stayed here for a week and recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area. The Grange Circle and Lough Gur are a very short distance away. Don't miss them.

We had such a wonderful 3-night stay at Curraheen Cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage itself is full of charm with the coziest vibes, yet offered more than enough space for our family to spread out. Our older children absolutely loved the upstairs ‘bunk room’ with their own bathroom as it felt like their own private oasis. The kiddos especially loved the yard as it gave them plenty of room to run and play their new Irish bodhran’s while we could relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. The location was another big highlight. We were close to many of the attractions on our list, which made sightseeing easy, yet the cottage was tucked away enough to feel quiet and restful at the end of each day. Having laundry facilities on-site was an absolute lifesaver while traveling light with three kids, it made our trip so much more manageable! We did have a small hiccup at check-in (a VRBO issue, not host) but both the host and caretaker went above and beyond to help us. They were so communicative, quick to respond, and genuinely kind, which made all the difference and set the tone for a wonderful stay. All in all, Curraheen Cottage was the perfect home base for our Ireland adventure, and we’d absolutely stay here again. It’s a gem of a spot for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a true home away from home feel!

Wow! We wanted a comfortable quiet place in the country, centrally located to all the places we wanted to travel to. Found it here! Well appointed, comfortable, big enough for us all and our stuff. This is a great location and a wonderful and welcoming cottage!

Cute cottage located in very quiet area of Knocklong. Convenient for day trips we made over 5 day stay to Cliffs of Moher, DOOLIN, Limerick, Ring of Kerry, Killarney and national park, TORC Falls, KENMARE, Adare, Dingle Town and Tralee, Sally Gap, and ended in Dublin for 3 days. Car required. Only one pizza restaurant in village. Mary was helpful in reserving property and Maggie was helpful while at cottage. Did have few issues that need addressing and reported them to Mary. Thanks for use of your cottage. Kay (USA, South Carolina)

The cottage is nice but needs some attention & money put into it Heating didn’t work in 1/2 the place, dryer didn’t work (we were told it’s an ongoing issue) Hot water was scarce for showering. Had to have a fire on to keep warm at night.

The cottage was nice and cozy as it had a fireplace with a traditional feel. There are however some issues that need to be fixed ( supposedly waiting for maintenance people to come and fix the problem). It was however addressed with the owner who provided us with a partial credit.
