I wouldn't stay again.

Room was OK'ish. Lobby was clean.

Breakfast was just OK. Beds were very soft. Shower was weak and moldy. Staffing was thin. Valet refused to leave his desk until his phone told him we had paid for our room and parking. Rate was high.

Huge crush of people at breakfast. Ran out of food items such as oatmeal early on and didn’t replace some of them. The attendant hustled to keep up with demand but it was a challenge to do so.

Great place

Helpful staff. We arrived early in the morning after a red eye flight and they provided us an early check in. Excellent breakfast. Great location for biking the GAP trail. Very close to our bike rental shop. Right on the GAP trail. We took public transport bus 28x from the airport, then 6 block walk to hotel. I would stay here again

Would recommend but not a room on the west side of the building

We were very close to a T station that took us directly to PNC Park. Transit was free to and from PNC Park. Starbucks just down the street. The downtown area is easily accessible by foot. Excellent breakfast with lots of food choices.

Our room faced west. At 3:45am every morning the trash pickup truck would empty the large trash bins at the building next to ours and make a ton of noise doing so. It woke us up on both nights.

Soundtrack to a Monster Truck Derby

Staff were nice, and the breakfast was a surprisingly good spread.

There was a horrendous amount of traffic noise all night long. I was constantly awake from the sounds of idiots racing and brodozers flexing their exhaust system. My Garmin ranked it the worst night's sleep that I've ever had. Maybe it's not a problem for all rooms, but if you have a "River View" rooms on the top floors expect 100dB traffic noise all night long. I slept with earbuds playing white noise at max volume, and was still woken up every 3-5 minutes by traffic noise. Waited for an hour to get checked in because the computer system couldn't retrieve the booking that I had made through Booking.com. The helpful front desk woman sat and refreshed for a ridiculous amount of time til I finally got a Booking customer support rep on the phone. Took another 20 minutes for them to talk it out. Maybe not the hotel's problem, I'm not sure, but it was a major hassle.

Great location! Easy to get around by bus or walking!

The room was wide and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was available every morning and there was gym that's open 24 hours. Great location in Downtown Pittsburgh. Nearby to bus stops and a rail station.

Breakfast food and selection was good and breakfast staff was exceptionally nice. All the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the guys at the valet desk were efficient and courteous. Convenient to Pittsburgh light rail system with free service to PNC Park.

Housekeeping had to be asked to clean our room (was supposed to happen every 2 days - we were there 5 days). Location is beside noisy highways but we knew that going in.

Central location.

The location of the hotel is optimal for a traveler using public transportation. The light rail line is in walking distance to the hotel. In addition, it's really close to a lot of amenities like restaurants and convenience stores.

The only two things are minor. First, the person who checked me in seemed confused at how many days I was actually staying. The second is that the floors/ceilings are very thin. You could easily hear people walking around.

It was pleasant and we would stay again.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Also, every time we would go to the market area to get water, they gave it to us for free. We weren’t expecting that!

The only issue we had was the sheets on our bed didn’t fit the bed correctly. They were a bit too small for the bed. We declined maid service because we don’t like people in and around our belongings, so we would fix our sheets ourselves. We were exhausted every night, so it wasn’t a huge bother but the maids need to be more aware of how the sheets fit the beds.

It's a short walk to restaurants and stores downtown, which is convenient. The bathroom is spacious. Room has a lot of counter space and cable.

The breakfast area is small, so is the lounge area. The parking situation is very sketchy. The hotel front is on a weird one-way street that sometimes has no loading zone (only valet). Hotel told us parking would cost $35 with in/out privilege but didn't mention you need the iParkit app. We used regular ticket and had to pay A LOT for going out and back in - $64 for a day. It's a major rip off.

OK, but wouldn't go back due to parking issues

The hotel has clean, spacious rooms, with comfortable beds. Some fair breakfast options included.

Parking was awful - is it 3 blocks away and you have to take your luggage through a dense area of homeless population. Parking via the hotel was $35 but we later found out that the car park itself as a normal driver (not hotel guest) was $10 cheaper! Staff were grumpy during check in.

It was the best small getaway I could ask for.

I loved the staff. The two gentlemen standing and greeting us at the door were so nice. The girl that was working with us right away for our room. There was a fuse blown and she helped us right away and set us up with a whole new room. Absolutely will stay again!

Excellent value, impressive property, amazing view!

This was the perfect location for our Gateway Clipper cruise on New Year’s Eve. The view was gorgeous! Staff was friendly, valet parking was reasonable, breakfast was wonderful! we have stayed at other hotels downtown, but this was a pleasant surprise!

We loved everything!
