We could hang out with our friends who were in the other appartment wich was great. The vibe, pool, terrace is great. Ubud center is about 18 mins walk, so we barely had to take a scooter. Great to have a water ballon
Since it is an appartment it would be great to have some cuttlery or plates. Bathroom is huge, I would put up some hangers for the clothes

A lovely oasis in the midst of the heat and bustle of Ubud. We booked the two villas for our family which worked well. Pool was gorgeous, however it turned our blonde hair green! We loved the location, as it was down a path that was only accessible by foot or bike, which was rather nice. Easy walking distance to a lovely cafe restaurant (Soul Kitchen) and several nice restaurants, shops and laundry services. Slightly further walk downhill to main street. Breakfast was prepared for us at the property each morning - simple but tasty - and the banana pancakes were delicious.
Directions to access the property a bit unclear, but once we worked it out, it was fine. Recommend getting dropped off at intersection of Jalan Sri Wedari and Jalan Sadat and walking the path to the property on arrival. My son's and my blonde hair went green, but this corrected over time once we left. The property did not offer any suggestions for the cause or what to do about it - suspect due to copper/chlorine levels in the pool? There was a bottle of water for refills but it did not fill us with confidence, so we kept buying water. TV remotes and TVs did not work, however, we didn't really care as we were busy sight-seeing or chilling in the pool.

Property is really nice. I think it has a lot of potencial if they improve some things.
It's a very peaceful place with only two villas. Room is very big with a massive bed. Bed a sheets were very comfy and clean.
I loved the big space outside the room, where they serve breakfast every morning at the time that you say. We were four mornings and every morning was different and delicious. Also we had a little kitchen with a fridge and water to refill our bottles. We didn't use the kitchen but having a fridge there was very helpful.
Pool was great too, we had a swim every day and always were by ourself.
There is a passionfruit tree outside the room and the boy (sorry, forgot his name) got some for us every morning (apart of the breakfast).
They cleaned the room every day and changed our room. They have a little temple in a corner and every morning a lady does her offering/ritual.
Even though our stay was great, there are some things that could be improved to make it better for those who come. Mainly, I think it is not very well equipped: only 1 hanger clothes, only 1 lamp, no hair dryer... toilet could be improve with all the nice decorations there is in Bali... no shampoo, no hand towel.

Huge bed which was very comfy, very clean bathroom with good shower pressure. good air con.
No fridge in the room , also didn't use the pool as it is surround by many tress so not much sun light gets in so your not really able to sunbathe. The hotel is also a good 20-25 walk to the busy areas , which was fine for us but maybe not for others.

The location was close to the main street but not crowded. It was peacefull when u want some rest. Its a hidden gem close to the city centre. The staff is very nice and asks what time u want breakfast the next day. The swimming pool is good. The cleaning is really good and tidy. So it feels like a second home in Ubud.
If you don’t like cute little reptiles, then you have to be cautious. We’ve had some little gecko’s in our room, but they do not harm you. They were helpfull with eating insects like moquitos.

friendly welcome, helpful staff, carrying my luggage the long way to the bungalow, transport at reasonable price
quiet bungalow, good size for a family of four, nice terrace with garden view, clean pool, large bathroom with working hot shower, parking for motorbikes available, wifi fast and reliable, flat screen tv with working cable channels (eg Prime, Netflix)
basic breakfast, prepared fresh, a menu to choose from would be nice
not suitable for guests with a car ( deadend road only for motorbikes)

Good room with a cery big bed. We enjoyed having a terrace and a pool we shared with one another room. Quite place in Ubud, but still close enough to do sightseeing. Nice owner, good breakfast.
We will come back if we come again to Ubud. Thank you!
Water pressure in a shower was one day not good. But it was still possible to take a shower.

- amazing setting, lovely large villa and pool area
- friendly staff, particularly Maddie at breakfast
- awesome value for money
- about a 15 minute walk from the main part of town up a very thin road which taxis struggle with. but it does give peace and quiet
- the towels smelt a bit damp

Family atmosphere, kind owner, who prepared a delicious breakfast every morning at the accommodation. In a quiet place, 900 meters from the loud frenzy of Kuta. Very nice host.

very nice place. the rooms are spacious and the patio are is very large, you have breakfast overlooking the pool. the staff is very friendly and helpful.
it’s approx 10 minutes from main road, we liked the remote feeling and quite location but it’s good to know that the road are a bit dark for some parts.

The staff was so sweet, the swimming pool nice. The garden super lovely. Every morning a different breakfast. It is a bit from the main road, the last part is not reachable by car. But the walk is lovely through all the banana trees.

The villa itself was basic but had everything you would need for a relaxing stay in Ubud. Madi’s breakfasts were wonderful and she was also very helpful, especially with our very late check in. The room was cleaned daily and the surroundings were also well maintained. The area is very peaceful but still within walking distance to Ubud town.
Some small improvements and updates would really make a big difference here. For example, the pool towels smelled really badly and the shower towels were stained. The sheets were also stained and the extra cushions on the bed smelled really badly too. The rainy season doesn’t help for drying towels and so new towels every day would have been a small but welcome improvement.

The host, Maddy, was very nice and informative. She was always available on whatsapp to provide advice and connect us to services. We mostly planned our own trips but she appeared to have lots of activities and connections for those that prefer a guided service. Maddy was happy to make breakfast at the time of our choosing. Breakfast was always fresh fruit with some different hot food everyday (pancakes, jaffles, omlette etc.). The location is very quiet at the end of a small street. It takes 5 minutes by scooter to get into the main shopping and food area, making it a peaceful but convenient escape from the busy streets. The room was cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels daily. The bed is very comfortable and large. The bathroom was clean and shower was always warm with good pressure. Air con works very quickly to cool down the room. You share the pool with one other villa but we barely saw our neighbours so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. We think Maddy runs an excellent business and the value for money was amazing. We would love to stay again!
We liked the location as it felt secure but some travellers may find it difficult as the street leading up to the villa is very narrow and cars can not get you to the doorstep. If you do not ride a scooter, expect to walk around 20 minutes to get to the main road and expect to have cars drop you on a different street which then requires a short 2 minute walk to the villa.

This is place is a gem. Only 3 rooms on the property so you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. I cannot thank the staff enough they truly were the best and helped me with everything i needed. Bfast was delicious the gardens are beautiful and this place was immaculately clean all the time. They make sure you always have hot water for tea/coffee, passionfruit right off their trees, clean pool, spacious rooms, beautiful setting that always smells like frangipanis and it is so quiet even though you are a 5 mim walk to town. I would come back for sure!

The garden is amazing, so manu beautiful plants, pool is great, clean, nice to relax by the water and enjoy the day.
Rooms are quite big and spacious, nicely decorated, you don't hear the fus and noise from the city and traffic. Beds are so comfortable, we really rested and slept very well.

Extraordinary paradise respite within walking distance to the center of Ubud. Made is the perfect hostess caring for your requests and making delicious breakfasts. The good sized well decorated room is impeccably cleaned everyday. The pool is heavenly and even more so looking around the well manicured garden. I plan to come back to Bali again just so that I can stay here.

A gorgeous little peaceful sanctuary in Ubud. Made in particular made our stay wonderful - she is truly one of life's beautiful people.
Great pool, amazing big bed, fully functioning aircon and lovely breakfasts. The shower was really good. The gardens are gorgeous; you could just sit outside your room and while the time away after a busy day. I would 100% stay here again if we went back to Ubud.
Just a few things that you might want to bear in mind as I can't see this info elsewhere:
- The property is not accessible by car. This means that it's wonderfully quiet, despite being very close to the centre of Ubud but, if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage like we did then you may have find yourself walking there with 40kg on your back!
- Staff only seem to be around in the morning, which is generally fine, but we did have an issue where they arranged a driver to the airport for us who didn't turn up and we had nobody around to help us out.
- There were two BIG Alsatian type dogs around who came bounding at us and jumping up at us on two or three occasions. After the initial heart attack in the dark, we were OK as we love dogs and they were big softies, but the staff had no control over them.

I love that the place have so much privacy from the center. It is so peaceful and the pool is so well maintained. Made was so helpful throughout my whole stay. It is definitely a plus having great host who cares about you as a solo traveler.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and prepared us a lovely breakfast every morning at a time that worked for us. Our room was always cleaned and the (huge!) bed was made beautifully every morning. We were provided with pool towels which was a nice touch, and there are kitchen facilities that can be used including a full-sized fridge and a gas cooker. The pool is a decent size and lit at night, and the overall surroundings in the garden were beautiful, with water features, vibrant plants, and even a koi carp pond.
The only slight downside we found was that it was slightly out of the main Ubud area. Pondok Putri Sari is located in what seems like a farm land, where it is lovely and peaceful, however this does mean a 10-15 hill-walk to the main road.
