A fantastic family holiday gem, yes there is hills and steps but it’s Torquay! Those views are worth it.
Spacious, comfortable, great family space and wonderful views. The lodge is beautiful. Great comms with host when needed. Would highly recommend.
Just needs some lamps replacing in games room. Maybe an air fryer as an extra kitchen item. Nothing major though.

Very easy. Two key boxes, which we didn't know about. We tried the one we could find it wouldn't open. We sent a text to Owner, who responded immediately, advising other key box. We found it! Owner was very helpful.

The view, and space
Outside very untidy, caretaker wondering around looking in bedroom windows ! Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired , I emailed the owner but no reply

The lodge was contemporary in design and made for a very pleasant stay.
The provision of a bread board would be a useful addition in the kitchen. Painting a white warning line on the top outside step the same as with has been done with the other lower steps outside the front door would improve safety. During the weekend storms a minor roof leak down the inside wall behind the radiator on the upstairs landing was observed. This seemingly from the flat section of the roof. No further leaks occurred during the rest of our stay in what proved to be a very wet week in Torquay.

Great property for us & our 13 and 11 yr olds, great location, had a lovely week, highly recommend!
Really comfortable and spacious property, it was lovely to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the views. A short walk (steps) down to the harbour, excellent location. Very helpful host who replied to our messages quickly.
