Beautiful accommodation with beautiful views

The location is second to none. The views from the lounge windows across Babbacombe Downs and Lyme Bay are amazing. We had a couple of issues with the heating and electrics, but Jackie responded quickly to my phone call and Tony came out to fix it within 15mins. We didn't need to bother them for the rest of our week long stay, but it was good to know they were so responsive if we did have any further issues. I would definitely stay here again, it's one of the best places I've stayed in on Babbacombe Downs. It's very handy to have the cafe downstairs literally on your doorstep. They do great food at reasonable prices.

Not so much an issue for me but the TV in the lounge needed to be tuned every time you turned it on, and the two TVs in the bedroom couldn't be tuned at all. (One needed a PIN.) We could have contacted Jackie & Tony and I'm sure they would have sorted it out, but we didn't watch much telly when we were there.

Comfortable and well equipped apartment with a great view over the bay.

Beautiful well appointed apartment. Fantastic view.

Stairs were a pain, particularly if you have heavy cases. Offset by the view though, once you get to the top. Issue in one of the bedrooms with one of the slat blinds as one of the slats fell off when opening them. A minor thing really on balance.

The location of the apartment was exceptional, overlooking Babbacombe Downs and amazing sea views. The apartment was very clean and spacious, bright and airy with good lighting at night throughout, with excellent facilities with nothing missed out. There was an iron, ironing board, clothes drying rack, also with excellent kitchen facilities, ie cutlery, plates and bowls, good gas cooker, trays, casserole dishes, frying pans saucepans, even egg cups 😀.

Our only slight criticism which could be made better, is for updated TV's as they are a bit outdated now and are not smart TV's, so couldn't watch any apps during the evening times. Also as there was a group of us, there was sometimes aggravation over the door keys as there was only one set of keys so we had to share them which made it difficult if we were doing different things during the day. So we think adding another set would be better, as also the key box wasn't easy and took a few attempts both times to get it opened.

Wonderful location and a very well-equiped apartment.

Location and the facilities within the Apartment were great.

The Apartment could have been cleaner. There were smear marks on the windows and mirrors and there was a used tissue in one of the bins. The table lamps in the living room did not work.

Rooms with a view

A very comfortable and modern apartment with incredible views across Babbacombe Bay. The suite provided all the amenities we could have wished for. Clean and safe, with beautiful decor and quality linens. A most enjoyable stay.

Softer bed pillows please. Not suitable for people with difficulties in negotiating two flights of stairs.

After the initial issues getting into it the apartment was great but a lot of dtairs and no lift.

Location was great. Views were excellent. Property was well fitted out

I could not find the property initially because all I had was the Apartment Name. The instructions needed to include the name of the hotel as well. My Satnav said “you have reached your destination”. I had to ask numerous people where it was before I found the front door. Also, the pin code supplied was incorrect. We had to phone up to get the correct code.

Lovely cliff view apartment

The apartment is decorated to high standards and it was absolutely spotless. The view on the cliffs is amazing. Beds were comfortable and the quality of linen provided was good.

The only little note I have is that it would have been useful to have a little guide left with some instructions (for example where to leave the keys at checkout). But as I said it's more of a note than a complaint and we will definitely be back!
