We were immediately impressed by the facilities and cleanliness of the cottage. The welcome package of milk, eggs, crisps and Welsh cakes was also much appreciated. We found the beds to be very comfortable and had a good night's sleep each night.
Very little, except for the slow Internet connection which was only a issue for our 13 year-old grandson! We couldn't open the back door but this didn't inconvenience us although may have done had the weather been wet.

Clean and cool from the outside heat downstairs

Location was central for visiting the surrounding villages.
The cottage had everything needed for a short break and it was clean.
Our first visit to Wales will not be the last!
The proximity to the road made it quite noisy if you were to stay in for a chill day but it personally did not bother us that much.
It also took a few days before someone replied to us regarding an external door that did not lock.

Good Location for our trip
Internet unreliable. TV dependant on internet so not able to view consistently. Bathroom mixer tap very stiff and poor quality. Not able to program the hot water so water cold in the morning. Loud road noise as cottage is adjacent to the busy A5
Very disappointed with the cottage returned home two days early. I tried twice to contact the owner text and WhatsApp no response.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable for the 2 of us. All facilities were available and there was even a welcome pack of essentials like milk and eggs. WiFi was great once we got help with the code! (our fault)
First impressions were worrying as the outside window ledges were covered in bird droppings and the garden was impassable as it was so overgrown. Apparently the work was booked to be done but worker has not turned up. Garden was eventually mown mid way through the week.

Lovely cosy cottage, fully equipped with all modern comforts and amenities.
Road traffic in morning can be a little loud but we are used to complete silence at home so could just be that we aren't as used to it!

Cosy little place. Log burner (dinky but great). Down the road from a good pub! Really good location on the A5. Lots to visit within a short drive. And the wax melts in the burner… made everything smell divine!
Not much! It was fab, aside a few dirty pans in the kitchen. We cleaned them before using.

Perfect position for where we wanted to go each day.

Good location, nice amount of space inside the house for a cottage. Good parking area room for our 2 cars easily. Space to keep bikes out of sight overnight which was useful.
The road was a bit noisy in the morning from in bed. Didn't notice it during the evening with the TV on. Would of been nice to have some outdoors seating, the garden was a bit over grown.

Good value for the area, spacious and clean. Lovely views. Easy check in. It was ideal for us because I grew up in the area. Overall we had a great week. Would have been nice to have some more info on local walks from the owners.
Cold inside (as expected from stone cottage) followed instructions for heating but boiler just did what it wanted. Double bedroom had foisty smell, perhaps fresh duvet may be needed.

The house was immaculate, all the things we needed were there
A bit far out for a walk to the pub, other than that nothing

Nice area, well-equipped kitchen for cooking. Convenient access and parking space outside for two cars. Nice bench in the garden for breakfast. Three convenient bedrooms with storage. Very clean bathroom and kitchen. Dishwasher and washing machine. Excellent water pressure in the shower.
No tablets for the dishwasher and no sponge/brush to clean dishes made it difficult to clean the dishes after cooking with only cloth. Also, the general cleanliness of the floors in the place could have been a bit better. The mattresses in the bedrooms were quite worn out.

Remote country side location, woke up to birds chirping and surrounded by greeneries.
Beds were comfortable and house had all amenities including dish washer, washing machine, TV, wood fire.
Toilets were clean and the shower was powerful. Owner was responsive when I contacted regarding a fault in the shower railing coming off, it was fixed the same day.
It is not actually in Betws-y-coed town centre, it is in Pentrefoelas, around 20 minutes drive and it only has a small co-op although lots of cute outdoor shops, cafes, restaurants.
The driveway for car parking was great but quite a sharp turn on a 40 mile road in and out so just need to becareful of passing traffic on the way in and out.

clean and well equipped, could do with living in by owners for a few days to find those little things that were missing but wouldn’t occur unless you stayed in the house. The tv could do with updating for example, and maybe some picnic boxes.? The telephone number on the website is not the same as the one in the brochure in the cottage.Which may account for the person slamming the phone down on me when I tried to call before coming to Wales!
it was fine, getting out of the drive was a bit hairy, but we got the hang of it,and there’s not much one can do anyway!

Beautiful cottage in gorgeous surroundings

Liked the scenery, how quiet it was, the whole place was spacious, lots of room.
Main bedroom bed could’ve been bigger, didn’t like the fact the front door key was in the door, the boiler system could be updated as we realised we had to leave it on the whole time for the place to stay heated. Could’ve done with more firewood as could only use it once. Could also make the leaving time a little later as think 9am is a bit early as needed to clean after ourselves before leaving.

nice, clean and modern
a little road noise during the day but quite at night

Location was perfect on the main road, villages with facilities close by, nice views and well equipped.
The TV was very difficult to operate and not all channels were available. The Wifi password on the box didn't work.

Lovely cottage set in beautiful surroundings. Excellent facilities for a family of four. A short drive from Betws-y-Coed and ZipWorld. The wood burner was a bonus which we enjoyed, and we were able to purchase more logs and kindling from the Spar in Betws-y-Coed.
The WiFi seemed to be a "pay as you go" arrangement, and whilst the owner was quick to top up the data, we ran out twice during the week.
