2 Bedroom Harbour Apartment

The apartment was well equipped with amazing views. Very cosy and clean. In a really good location.

What's not to like?

No issues finding or accessing the apartment via clear instructions from the host Sarah. Fantastic cozy apartment in a wonderful location within a few minutes walk to the main Porthmadog high street. The apartment has everything we required for our lovely 3 night stay. 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. A small but perfectly adequate and comfortable open plan living/dining room. The TV is already hooked up to the host's Netflix and Amazon Prime services, but best of all are the stunning views from either the comfort and warmth of being behind the huge sliding patio glass doors, or the balcony itself, which has a table and outdoor chairs. It was a bit chilly in Feb for us to do that, but I'd imagine it would be lovely in warmer months. The heating can be easily adjusted manually to suit your needs. The shower was great too.

If I had to be picky, I'd say I'm not a fan of this modern trend ultra slim line sinks in bathrooms. I can understand why owners have them fitted, as they look very stylish and sleek, but personally speaking I prefer a sink where brushing your teeth doesn't require you to have your head pressed up against the wall in order to not get toothpaste all over the floor. A small criticism / observation, but it would definitely not stop us from highly recommending this gem of an apartment.

It was a lovely, comfortable and homely apartment with a great view. It had all of the facilities that we would of wished for and to our surprise was already stocked with tea, coffee, seasoning, sauces, sugar and kitchen consumables such as washing up liquid, hand soap, cling film, plastic bags etc. We used the fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster but the kitchen/diner/ sitting area also had a cooker and air fryer. The cupboards were filled with all the plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery you would ever need. The bathroom was of good quality, clean and stocked with great fluffy towels and multiple toiletries. The electric shower was powerful, lovely and warm. The apartment was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The view of the harbour through the large sliding window doors and from the lovely balcony was beautiful even during rainy weather or at night.

Superb Location

Apartment could do with a bit of TLC, ended up putting the spare room duvets up at the window in the main bedroom to block the street light, lined curtains or blackout bling needed, also had to unblock shower plughole to allow the water to flow away, bed also needs attention.

Lovely location. Felt very safe being a solo traveller. Cost and inviting with full facilities. Had games, local information and felt very homely.

Could hear the neighbours at times due to it being an apartment.

absolutely fabulous location right by the water.a few minutes from the train and the town,situation 10/10 very peaceful area .lovely balcony to sit and watch the world go by.2 lovely bedrooms.and an excellent shower room and toilet with lovely furniture,beds and bedding in excellent condition and so comfy mmmm.

sadly the decor in the lounge mainly very tired,really needs an upgrade especially the 3 piece suite,very badly stained, an upholstery cleaner would have brought them back to new,,shame really,maybe because it was the end of the season that this was a problem..also stains on the floor tiles in kitchen area.posibbly tile adhesive,again somethin that could be easily rectified.frying pans were in a terrible state obviously a previous holiday client had used them and burned them black,which left them needing a wire brush to clean,finaly this may sound like a negative response please do not take it that way it is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment,just needs a bit of updating,all that said ,we shall be returning next year and are looking forward to it..yvonne
