Excellent peacful stay in wonderful location with harbour views.

Excellent location, very close to Ffestiniog Railway station at Porthmadog (less than 1 min walk away!). Great view of the harbour and easy walk into town centre. An ideal location combining coast, mountains, railways.

A standard/ reading lamp in the lounge would be useful (there is space by the sette to fit one in in the corner). This would give a much better light to sit and read by and a less harsh light just to sit and enjoy the fantasitc view (we ended up moving one of the bedside lights onto the Kitchen table and this provided a much more relaxing light in the lounge/kitchen and provided a suitable light to read by sat at the kitchen table.

Mini break, fabulous views & weather, great location.

Self catering, and very well equipped. Cosy, very clean, comfortable beds, which is always a bonus. Beautiful views from the property. Allocated parking space another bonus. Mark, our host, kept us updated. Would recommend this property, and Porthmadog, some nice independent shops, and not your boring run of the mill high street stores. Would recommend The Australia, famous for its own Purple Moose Brewery, the food is good and portions are quite big.

Gorgeous place with stunning views

Ideal location, in probably the best part of Porthmadog and easy to get to others places in the area. Fabulous views of the harbour. The apartment was well equipped and clean and warm. The beds were comfortable. Tv easy to use, shower too. Instructions from owners clear and easy to follow and communication good.

Great place, lovely owners, fabulous location

Excellent location, and really good, easy but subtle instructions for things like how to use the oven, extractor, shower etc. The place was spotless and had almost everything you could need. Including extra heaters, games, books even beach equipment I would go back.

The bed was not comfortable it was VERY soft, we turned the mattress around top to bottom which helped for the second night but a new one is needed, perhaps a table for the patio (unless I didn't find it) and the living room furniture could probably do with a bit of an update. However, I would go back without hesitation.

Property was well maintained. Property has own parking space. It has fantastic harbour views, is close to FFESTINIOG RAILWAY HARBOUR STATION. The town has plenty of places to eat & the property is close to everything you could want or need. Good communication with host Mark. Thank you

Brilliant place, lovely people.

Second time we've stayed. Second floor apartment with balcony overlooking the harbour. Watching the sunset from here is spectacular. Look to your right and you see the mountains and your'e just 50 yards from Porthmadog station where the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railway departs. Watching the steam trains is an experience, to travel on one through the Welsh mountains is breathtaking. Beautiful local area with some great beaches, hillsides and villages nearby. The apartment has everything you need for a short break. We stayed 4 nights, could have stayed another 4. In a word, outstanding.

Nothing. The outsides of the apartments were being painted while we were there but even avoiding wet paint wasn't a problem.

Great location and would be happy to return.

Allocated parking on site. Very clean. Great views from balcony. Quiet area. Short level walk to town centre. Ffestiniog railway station with the great "Spooners" cafe/bar/restaurant also only 5 minute walk away. Mainline train station 15-20 min level walk.

Scaffolding in situation but no work taking pace during our visit. Defective fridge (food wasted). No toaster. Bed could have been more comfortable.

We were on a tour round west and north Wales and the Harbour Haven was an excellent place to stay.

Superb location, magnificent views, great place to drive out to other places like Borthy Gest, Caernarfon and Pwllheli. If you’re a steam train fan - the Ffestioniog railway is literally next door! Also, the kitchen is very well appointed.

Parking is good but a little tight if you have a big vehicle.

Perfect location. Quiet but with quick access to shops /restaurants Balcony with lovely views over the harbour, great place to sit and watch the sunset. Dedicated parking spot behind the apartment . Clean and comfortable with everything I needed and felt very secure as a lone traveller.

Nothing it’s perfect for a lone traveler or couple. Although it sleeps 4 it might be a bit small for a family

Great location, fantastic views over the harbour and across to the mountains. A few minutes walk from the Ffestiniog Railway. Spotlessly clean.

If I’m being picky, would have liked a side light in the sitting room, other than that, nothing.

Stunning view and good location

The view, the cleanliness, the decor and the location were particularly good. The facilities in terms of crockery etc were acceptable and we had everything we needed.

I found the lack of work surfaces in the kitchen rather challenging
