Great location, very easy walk to shops and sea from of Beaumaris. Easy access to Bangor, the Llyn Penisula and Lanberis. Not far to Menai Bridge which includes a Waitrose for holiday treats. Lots of great places to eat and many were dog friendly. It was a very spacious converted shop. Small backyard. We closed the front window shutters for privacy. Middle bedroom had blackout blind but not main bedroom. Kitchen facilities were good. Bathroom was a good size. We slept really well. Heating was easy to use. Lots of cleaning products left, including kitchen roll and tea towels.

The obscure coating on front window not high enough for people not to look in and the side windows didn’t have any, even though cars park right next to window. Main bedroom could benefit from blackout blinds. Bathroom needs obscure coating on window as cottage next door can see in if they are in bed. Would benefit from a downstairs toilet. Some damp on one kitchen wall and paint particles fell onto work service. The wooden centre aisle was handy but hadn’t been cleaned underneath ( found a hat, two tennis balls and lots of dirt and dust) and we had a visit from some ants. Sprayed area with cleaning products but no long handled dustpan or brush to help clean. Guest book mentioned in December that the bedroom next to the bathroom was not working, we visited in May and this was still the case, luckily we only need two bedrooms. I wrote a list of problems and left them for the cleaning staff and sent the same information to the agents vis booking.com but have not had a reply. Hopefully cleaning staff will pass it on and the small items will get addressed.

Quirky property with lots of character, super comfortable and bright. The host provided a lot of great suggestions for the area as well as a guest book if you want to know what people have gotten up to. Lovely mix of rustic and countryside vibes.

The only thing I could say is the sofas weren't super comfortable, they looks very stylish maybe a foot rest would make it more comfortable.

Creaky stairs was worried about the noise but that comes with old buildings 😁
