Location was quiet, in the country, with woodland and clean beaches near by. Lots of historical buildings near by.
Cottage spotless, cosy, warm. Decor bright and relaxing.
Cottage complete with all crockery and cutlery, pots & pans.
Written instructions for H&S, bins, throughout the cottage
Weather rather wet

The downstairs was very spacious for a family with a dog. Kitchen well equipped. And 2 good sized bathrooms. Great location. The host was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottages and location. Excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble for James he even posted my daughter’s teddy back to us (along with a thank you note!) when she left it behind !

The cottage was very quaint and in a gorgeous setting. Not to far from town at all. Was great to turn up and have logs for the fire and overall was very homely.
The only downside was the hot water when running a bath wasn't very hot, just warm, otherwise everything was lovely.

Location was ideal. Cottage was cozy and dog friendly, 15 minutes walk to the nearest beach and a short drive to Beaumaris. Host greeted us on arrival and was helpful and friendly without being intrusive.
Appreciated the washing machine, and kitchen was small but functional.
Shower pressure was poor and the temperature control was tricky to get right. Bathroom in general looked a little run down - rusty radiator and black mould on shower screen seal.
Open fire looked lovely but chimney let a lot of smoke into the room and very little heat.
Wouldn't want to stay in colder weather as wardrobes, windowsills and bathroom seemed to suffer a bit from damp, and it was difficult to dry laundry inside.

Location, space, well equipped and peaceful.
The main thing for us was the lack of outside lights at the front of the property , but more importantly the back as we have dogs and we had to use our phone light to see to pick up after them . A sensor light would have been helpful.
Also lack of wifi and phone signal( although we enjoyed the tec free time).

The property was clean and cozy, just a short drive into the town
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property, my only negative feedback would be maybe some of the trees need pruning back a little, as it rained quite heavily all weekend the rain dripping from the branches onto the skylight in the bedroom caused a problem getting sleep, I know you can’t help the weather and it sounds picky but if the branches overhanging the window were cut back a couple of inches it would solve the problem

Unfortunately as a family going on this break I was too poorly to go. I had just come out of hospital still receiving treatment so this prevented me from travelling
Too far away from shops. My son had to find a shop to get washing tablets to wash the kids clothes. We was under the impression these would be available

A comfortable flat in a quiet location- very close to Beaumaris and all it's facilities.
We didn't appreciate being woken up at 7am by a barking dog!!!

The location was beautiful, The Studio was clean, the water in the shower was hot and it had adequate facilities. It was quiet, but just off the road so we were able to drive to Beaumaris, Penmon Point, Red Wharfe Bay and a beautiful small beach which was within walking distance. However Anglesea roads don't have verges, so it felt dangerous to try to walk.
The Studio needed a thorough makeover, the radiators were going rusty, the overhead Velux Windows were fogged and needed replacing, the oven on the cooker didn't work, and the settee and armchair were uncomfortable. The cotton duvets were quite thin, and we had to use a blanket as the temperature dropped during our stay. James the owner fixed the oven promptly (it wasn't broken, but as there were no instructions for any of the facilities we struggled to make it work). Some information about the area would have been helpful as well, but another holidaymaker told us about the local area, (where the beach was and how to get to the local village). There were no instruction manuals for any of the facilities either, but we managed.

The location was beautiful in gorgeous grounds.
There was no hot water. It’s slightly dated and neglected. Could have a few little touches to make it cosier, like lamps in the dining room, there is no WiFi. The floor between the kitchen and hall was warped and quite dangerous.

It was a really lovely location, lovely little enclosed garden space (for well behaved dogs to pop out for a wee). It was really comfortable and peaceful and yet close to amenities, it had everything we needed for our short stay. Really nice to have to wells and bedding provided & everything we could need to cater for ourselves during our stay. Loved the artist pictures of the local views too.
If it had been very wet, we could have done with a mop or some cleaning products to keep the hallway clean but luckily it was relatively dry and an old towel to wipe dogs feet and the floor was enough. Also, kids complained that the phone signal on EE was very poor & no WiFi but o2 was fine and I really appreciated and liked the break from tech.

The cottages are so close to the beach, just a short walk away and some lovely little walks in the woods nearby.
We had extended family so the cottages made it possible for us all to stay together (we were spread across cottage 2 and an apartment).
Great support leading up to the stay and afterwards too.
The main cottage (no.2) lacked some facilities in the kitchen that you'd expect to see. The cupboard door kept falling off which was a safety issue given how heavy it was, the drier didn't work so we couldn't wash clothes, there were not enough chairs in the living room for everyone staying, beds were missing slats so little uncomfortable (in cottage) and it was generally tired. The apartment was much more up-to-date and fresh.
The garden isn't enclosed but it would be easy to do this to make it more dog and child friendly.
This could be an exceptional cottage with a little TLC.
We still enjoyed our stay but likely won't return.

Fantastic location and setting
Damp and musty throughoutt.
Poorly decorated bathroom (not the one shown!) with mouldy walls and rusty radiator.
Kitchen was falling to pieces and mouldy / dirty.
Bedrooms musty with very old uncomfortable mattress.
Garden was not secure for the dog.
Inadequate parking, caused issues with neighbouring holiday let.

Cosy, clean and compact. Thoughtfully furnished. Quiet location. Close to excellent walk to Aberleiniog Castle.
Would have liked a welcome pack (I always read them !) which explained, for example, that the footpath to local castle starts 100 metres down the road.

Lovely little cottage. Beds comfortable.
Had everything we needed, all supplied by the hosts (eg. hand wash, washing up liquid, tea towels, toilet rolls, towels etc)
We were close enough to the town but a lovely area for little walks with our dog who we brought with us. A great base for exploring. We had a lovely garden to relax in the evening. No phone signal inside cottage but this was a very much welcome break from technology for us.
Nothing - all very good

Beautiful grounds, good location, nice outdoor table for relaxing in the evening.
Strong smell of damp on ground floor of No. 4. No wifi.

The location was perfect, quiet, plenty of space for 6 adults and a small child and it was very clean.
We had some niggles, which would be easy to remedy if perhaps the property was checked over more often. The front door wouldn't lock from the outside - we had to use the patio doors to enter and exit, the lock on the downstairs bathroom is broken and fell off in your hand every time you used it, and we had no hot water in the taps the entire stay. We had water in the showers but we couldn't have a bath. On check out we met the handy man who asked if we reset the water? We said we didn't know we had to. At the top of the stairs was a door that both myself and my husband attempted to open and couldn't so we assumed it was locked. It was in fact stiff, and behind it was the boiler! Might have been useful to have a notice on the door or in the kitchen with the information. We just had to boil the water to wash up etc. As I said easy things to remedy but we found them frustrating.

No Wifi

Crockery etc in kitchen was plentiful and good quality.
The space was well arranged.
It was clean and quiet.
The shower rail was loose.
The shower head was bent so water didn't flow in the right direction.
The wardrobe door handle wasn't attached.
The bedroom door wouldn't close.
There was nowhere to hang wet towels after showering.
There wasn't an welcome/information booklet, eg how to use the appliances, local information etc.
It was over-priced for what it was.
There were two WiFi options, one with excellent signal (locked) and one with weak signal (with a password for us to use). Bit frustrating that we could only access the weak/intermittent one.

The exterior was very pleasant, as was the grounds
Number 7 was very dirty, stains all over the internal woodwork, latches missing so internal doors couldn't be secured so banged. The shower fitting was broke so the shower couldn't be adjusted, the radiator and bathroom blinds where filthy. The bed above the bathroom was so uncomfortable, if it wasn't for our stay only being 2 nights I'd of left. Really awful bed. The overall experience was marred by a immediate smell of mould/damp, evident from first entering the property, this "musk" was throughout the property and despite numerous dehumidifiers and air fresheners, was significantly impacting for an asthmatic like myself. Then on early departure, as courtesy, we took the bed covers off for housekeeping, the cheap duvet and mattress where disgusting, stains all over. Honestly, really horrible, it was the tipping point for this review.

Huge cottage with four bedrooms, well furnished, very comfortable sitting room, good kitchen and cooking equipment, plenty of crockery / cutlery / glasses for our large family party.
Great location, five minutes walk to the sandy beach.
I couldn't get the WiFi working, but that might have been me. Spare front door key would have been helpful because not everyone was doing the same things every day
7.0 / 10.0
No one there to answer queries only answer phone, had to ask for bottle opener, back door very difficult to close, small fridge for size of property, lots of cobwebs in bedrooms

Lovely place , ideal spot , quiet but very near Beaumaris ( 3 min drive).
Bit tiered . Needs a fresh lick of paint, a new oven and shower very difficult to regulate the temperature

TV difficult to use without functioning remote. No internet facility.

Fab little apartment very clean just what we wanted. Nice and quiet plenty of parking spaces and close to attractions and walks.
I can honestly say there were no negatives I could think of. A bath would have been nice but it wasn’t a deal breaker

Would have been better with WC on 1st floor, although appreciate couldn’t be possible in the style of property.
