Almost perfect one week !

Cosy, roomy, clean , perfect location , plenty of crockery etc, and very comfy beds!!

As there was 4 of us I was a little bit disappointed with the kitchen cupboard set up…. not enough room to put my Morrison’s shop away and could have done with a bigger fridge/freezer. Confused with the tv !

Nice and cosy

Lovely cottage. Great location for exploring Angelsy. Located close to all shops and restaurants.

No parking. There is limited free parking nearby. You can purchase a weekly pass for the nearby carpark, around a 5 minute walk away.

Relaxing week away in a beautiful town.

Loved our upside down coach house cottage. Owners had thought of everything and there was nothing they hadn’t thought of. It was warm, cosy and comfortable, very homely. Great quiet location, close to all amenities in the town. Would definitely stay there again.

Easy to find good views a short walk away, had everything we needed for a comfy stay.

location was very good and central. Had all the amenities and space that we needed. Bed very comfy. Liked that some basics were available in the kitchen such as washing up liquid.

Hob seemed difficult to turn on at first, some of the markings worn off on oven settings so difficult to put grill on. Single glazed windows meant it was a bit noisy at times and draughty.

Amazing location, the town is beautiful. the view at the end of the road is breathtaking. lovely historic building, warm and cosy.

lack of parking but the owners give very clear instruction and guidance on how and where to park.

Coast and Castle Bagging

Good to be in Beaumaris. Lounge area v comfortable.

System for key access and leaving was poor. Key safe locking system stuck/jammed and would not work on leaving. Had to leave key under a plant pot. Could not make any contact with the agents Sykes. No easily accessible phone number on booking confirmation. Did find one eventually but then a convoluted tele message service kept on hold and cut off. Hopeless. This caused unnecessary and avoidable stress on the day of departure. Left the property worried but unable to resolve the problem. 6 hours later got a call from Menai Cottages asking for the key. Who are they? Sykes had not acted on my email. Menai man not thankful of the concern caused to me or trouble I had gone to as a thoughtful customer to try and resolve the problem yesterday morning. Bed mattress was lumpy and didn't get one good night's sleep Bathroom design is dangerous for access to the shower- poorly planned v small bathroom. A walk in shower would be more space efficient and safer than climbing over a bath and toilet. Kitchen / dining. Glass table is noisy to use. Cushioning on leather dining chairs has failed Access and parking is a nightmare and we were there in March. It will be much worse in summer. Cold when we arrived. Had to access boiler controls and adjust. In the evening the heating is only on auto from 5- 7pm which is mean and inadequate Thermostat turned down and had to be located and increased It's a self catering cottage. People have stuff to put into cars. Check out time of 10.00 does not take account of the number of trips over and back to car parking place we were able to find some distance away. Only use this cottage if you are agile enough to use the bathroom and fit enough for the endless packing trips to your vehicle.
