Beautiful Cottage

First of all, the location of the property is incredibly beautiful. Located in the middle of nature directly on a lake. The perfect place to recharge your batteries. The house is small and super cozy. It is equipped with everything you need and nothing is left to be desired. The sauna is also a big plus. We used them every day. There are sledges at the house with which you can toboggan right down the entrance to the house to the lake. The house is very clean and it also has a wood stove that you can use. It's incredibly cozy and we loved our days there. Katja's reindeer farm is 2 km from the house. Also worth a visit! We landed in Rovaniemi and had a rental car from there. The accommodation cannot be reached without a car.

The best way to feel Finish nature

We felt in love with this place! The visit was during the winter season, the place looked like from fairytale. The cozy environtment, the warm fireplace inside made our stay even more enjoyable when it was pretty cold outside from -12 to -24. The amazing thing here is surounding nature. You can observe the squirels eating nuts around 10-12 AM. Please bring some nuts for them and you will see great view 😉 The frozen lake is good location to walk on and to see northen lights. You could also walk on the hill to see them if the lake is not frozen (instructions are left on the guestbook). There are plenty of equipment left for you to use like snowshoes, sleds for winter hikes! Also, make sure that your car starts up properly during cold season. The good thing that there is an EU plug near the parking area for charging your accumulator in case you will have any problems. This place is 60km away from Rovaniemi, so only way to stay here if you have a car. Overall, the atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable. We had everthing we needed during our stay!

Exceptional

We stayed at the house just a few days after Christmas and everything was covered with snow. The house was very warm and cozy and the frozen lake was magnificent. We could also use the 3 sledges that the owner had left us and in our last day, we managed to see the northern lights. We had a great time !!!!!!

Come in una favola

Un posto realmente magnifico, pare di vivere dentro una favola. Il cottage pulito, ordinato, pieno di ogni confort. La signora Sirpa è disponibilissima e gentilissima. La casa è dotata anche di tutta l'attrezzatura per poter giocare nella neve (bambini o adulti che siano). Il posto è isolato ma molto sicuro e la strada per raggiungerlo è ottima, anche d'inverno. La sauna interna è comodissima, così come molto piacevole è il camino facilmente utilizzabile. Per tutto ci sono precise e minuziose istruzioni.

Нас очень гостиприимно втретила хозяйка дома.Нам понравилось как укомплектован и размер дома,природа вокруг, тишина и уют. Понравилась сауна, хотя на дровах лучше.

К сожалению кровать была меньше чем мы ожидали,мой муж с 1.86 ростом не совсем помещался в длину и очень мягкая .
