We had the time of our lives!

Jyri and Erika have crafted a masterpiece with Silencius! My wife and I went there in december 2025/january 2026 for our honeymoon and it was an excellent choice! We stayed for 8 nights. There are only three cabins, guaranteeing exclusivity. Each cabin has a private jacuzzi in the back, outside. The jacuzzi stays hot all day long and guests can use theirs at any time. We used it when it was -20ºC and still felt warm and cozy! The hosts clean the jacuzzi and trade the water when the guests are away. The cabins are relatively close to the Rovaniemi city center by car (25 min), but this distance actually adds to the experience, since they are located in a lightless area, which makes it possible to see the aurora borealis from the cabin or on the way to it (which we did!). When we arrived, there were finnish treats waiting for us. Jyri presented the cabin in person and taught us everything we needed to know. We also encourage each and everyone to purchase de private finnish sauna experience, because it is truly amazing. We'll keep the details to ourselves to preserve the surprises Jyri and Erika present. The place is merged in nature and the snow covers it in a beautiful way. The pathways inside the property are never closed though, because the hosts shovel it everyday. This was our best trip so far and Silencius was a big part of it! We are very grateful and feel very lucky for having had the chance to explore Rovaniemi with Silencius as our home away from home!

Perfect

It was so peaceful, we had a wonderful time here. We had a problem with the car and the very kind owner brought us to our husky safari, otherwise we would’ve been late! So thankful 🙏🏻

Excellent property with very helpful and friendly hosts. I would stay here again.

The location was secluded and perfect for a couple to get away from it all. The hosts were on hand if needed but never intrusive. The welcome drinks left in the cabin were a nice surprise to start off our holiday. The cabin was well laid out and clean with a tasteful decor and all the required amenities. Sitting in a hot tub in -37 degrees was a surreal experience and definitely one to cross off your bucket list. The host even offered to warm up or car for us if we needed it due to the extreme cold conditions during our stay. I would come back here without hesitation during my next visit to Lapland.

Really, the only improvement I would suggest would be to put some bedside tables or shelves in place to be able to put personal belongings onto at night time. It would also be good to have even a 2 hob cooker to be able to prepare meals. I purchased microwave meals which were ok, but it definitely benefit from a hob. This is only a small point though.

Warm, cosy, modern and a beautiful Finnish setting

This property was absolutely sensational and beautiful. The cabin was cosy, warm and felt modern and luxurious. The hosts were so friendly and even helped to pick us up and drop us off at the bus stop. The hot tub was amazing and had a cute atmosphere overlooking the snowy trees. The cabin is in a remote and quiet area which made it feel magical and peaceful. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Forest, aurora, jacuzzi.

Location in the forest and privacy was amazing. Even if the owners live there, I haven't seen them, they use other parts. It was like 20 minutes out of the Rovaniemi city, with an amazing bed, sauna and jacuzzi. Sauna can be preheated if you would like to, the jacuzzi was hot also in -18°C. We had an amazing time in jacuzzi with aurora up there. It was super nice.

Toilet privacy, no wardrobes for clothes etc. It's like a wellness room with a bed. It's not a negative comment, just be aware that it's not a fully furnished apartment with a kitchen and so... It's for romantic moments, or special aurora moments, or a relaxing zone.

Unforgettable experience in the forest

Host is very responsive. Northern lights were visible from the Jacuzzi which was easy to use. Very nice forest around it thats fun to explore.

Séjour incroyable, le couple d’hôte est adorable, les cabanes neuves et rien est laissé au hasard, plein de petites attentions et spectacle d’aurores boréales possible au dessus de votre tête ou même dans le jacuzzi ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Perfekte Unterkunft zum entspannen

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Erika war sehr zuvorkommend und immer gut erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und lädt zum entspannen ein. Einen Abend haben wir die Sauna gemietet, war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis besonders mit den Polarlichtern.

Alloggio con posizione Meravigliosa

Alloggio davvero meraviglioso, tutto perfetto, cura della casa, pulizia e posizione davvero spaziale. Abbiamo visto l’aurora boreale tutte le sere direttamente dalla finestra e quando uscivamo c’era uno spettacolo di luci indescrivibile. Casa accogliente e calda, spazi curati nei minimi dettagli. La estancia fue un auténtico sueño. El entorno es mágico, perfecto para desconectar y sentir la paz de la naturaleza. La limpieza fue impecable y cuidaron cada detalle para que me sintiera cómoda y relajada. Además, los propietarios fueron amables y atentos. Lugn miljö, välstädat när vi kom. Trevligt bemötande. Ser ut som på bilderna. Det egna spabadet var trevligt och vi kunde gå dit när man ville på dygnet. Sköna sängar.

Bastun var trevlig, dom hade fixat fint och goda tillbehör. Men lite dyrt med 120€ för 2 timmar av en vanlig ved eldad bastu.

Rien à dire, tout était parfait. La cabane est cosy et bien agencée, à notre arrivée Yuri nous a accueilli et présenté la cabane. Nous avions deux petites bouteilles de champagne sur la table. La cabane est très bien équipé vous n’avez besoin de rien et le cadre avec le jacuzzi est juste magnifique 🤩

Best location ever

Location spettacolare, la migliore in assoluto in cui ho alloggiato. Pulitissima, comoda, confortevole. Ci siamo stati con -32°C fuori, in cabina si stava caldi, abbiamo usato la Jacuzzi, visto l'aurora boreale durante il bagno. Come benvenuto, l'host ci ha lasciato spumante e cioccolatini finlandesi. Lui offre anche un servizio di Transfer (utilissimo) allo stesso prezzo di Uber, quindi conveniente. Host gentilissimo, pronto a supportarci a qualsiasi orario. Ci avvisava sulle condizioni dell'aurora boreale. Bagno comodo, cucina utilissima, letto enorme e comodissimo con cuscini comodi ed enormi anche loro. Ci siamo stai 2 notti di seguito ed è stato romantico e magico. Eccezionale.

Sicuramente non è in città ma anche per questo si vede un'aurora boreale incredibile.

Une escapade magique!

Ce fut le highlight de nos vacances! Les propriétaires étaient très accueillant et arrangeant. Dès notre arrivée qqn est venu nous trouver pour nous amener à la cabine. La cabine était propre, chaude, avec une petite ambiance grâce à la télévision et la musique. Le jacuzzi était à bonne température et facile à utiliser. Douche et toilettes avec chauffage au sol et une petite bouteille de prosecco pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. Le prix n’est pas donné mais cela en valait totalement la peine! Je recommande! :)

Un peu dommage de ne pas avoir de plaques de cuissons mais au final le tout était incroyable donc cela ne nous a finalement pas tant dérangé.
