Kotatieva Resort

Our stay at Kotatieva Resort was truly magical. The cabins are cozy, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. We especially loved how peaceful and private everything felt, while still being close to Rovaniemi. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Even though the restaurant was closed during our stay, they made sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated. The free transport was also a huge help, and Mika, the driver, is simply the best,such a lovely person and always willing to help. An unforgettable experience, we would definitely come back ✨

Perfect location to see the northern lights, fantastic cabin, not too warm or cold. The staff are amazing and help accommodate to any needs that you may have, the friendliest people I have ever met.

The cabin are small, and not much room for luggage storage.

Excellent location and beautiful landscape. Quality furnishings. 3 min walk to the ice skating. Outside shower was warm and a nice oasis when it got too crowded in the cabin. Staff all helpful and friendly and tried to engage my spicy 4 year old well.

Chemical toilet, limited water, no hot water (shower in a different building), bedrooms very small. Fine for a couple but we were 3 adults and a child. Log fire is nice but takes up a lot of space and no fire guard. We did not use it as there was not space to have people and fire in the same small space. No space for luggage. Bedrooms are 3inches wider than the beds so you have to be quite nimble getting in and out. Door to the outside had a knack to it which we got the hang of by the second day but should be replaced
