Fantastic Set up in a picture perfect location. Highly recommend a visit here

Unique experience in a stunning location.

Beautiful location, 20 minutes outside of the centre. The scenery was stunning. There are lots of things to do, we went on a hike that was recommended just opposite the Yurts and we were able to sledge all the way down. It was so much fun. Staying there was a very unique experience, one that will stay with us. The staff were brilliant. Gigi was always on hand and happy to help. Very knowledgable and friendly. Thank you!

A wonderful Lapland experience cosy yurt regular aurora sightings with friendly knock to alert great hospitality

The yurt was cosy and warm good breakfast fresh water fridge and kettle clean tidy shower and toilet blocks next to yurt Lovely jacuzzi & sauna Well marked hikes of various abilities Lovely fire inside barn to cook on Free sledges and mound to use

Very little a toaster would have been nice A better equipped shop with a few more fresh produce would be nice

Amazing experience

Amazing experience. Very friendly and helpful staff (they personally inform you about the northern lights). Nearby there is a charming cottage with delicious food (the salmon soup was excellent). On top of that, beautiful views.

The yurt was great, the facilities were clean and everything worked well. The staff was excellent and helpful!

This place is VERY expensive to stay, and if you want anything extra, a bottle of wine, use the hot tub, etc. Expect to pay an arm and a leg.

Loved the location, the fairy lights, the warmth, the complimentary breakfast foods, the decor, the team of the most friendliest people that went above and beyond.

Amazing stay!

The experience was really amazing, we even could see northern lights. Our yurt was very comfortable and we could sleep very well. The bathrooms were very clean.

Quite expensive but like everything else in Finland.. the breakfast provided could be improved.

the best experience you can do in Lapland is to stay in places like this. even if you stay in a yurt and you use an outside bathroom you have all the amenities you need. it’s a blast for family or friend or couple fun.

A beautiful yurt for wonderful moments !!

First night in a yurt, and from the entrance the impression of being at home with this very pretty warm decoration! Everything is well thought out and well arranged, until dinner in the Kota! Thank you for your welcome, your availability and this very original concept, which made us spend a pleasant night on the way to our road trip to Finland! Thank you again!

Just beautiful

This was one of the nicest stays we ever had. From the very first moment we felt welcome. The yurt and the view were astonishingly beautiful. The pictures look great but aren’t doing the place justice. The host Gigi was very kind and started a fire for us to cook our dinner. The showers and toilets are within a few seconds of every yurt and always very warm.

We stayed there for 1 week as a couple. Pretty yurt in a beautiful nature. The owners and Gigi go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable. The yurt is beautiful and comfortable. Perfect location to watch the Northern Lights.

Memorable stay at District Rovaniemi Oy

Yurts are located out in the wilderness, which makes the experience of stay quite brilliant. We were there last December for a day, but what a lovely experience it was. Staff and in special Kati and Gigi were really warm to make it better. Yurts are in their own right very warm and comfortable. This place even offers a communal indoor open fire which was lovely to do a quick barbecue. They have even a mini shop for souvenirs and convenience, which added to the charm. There are no private toilets for the Yurt and have a common one at stone's throw distance, which is quite understandable. All in all, really fantastic place to experience raw nature from all the comfort you can ask.

Nothing specific as such. However, if you are keen to prefer hot breakfast in the morning, don't get your hopes high. Though owners do provide a few items, they can be better enjoyed if you are suitable for colder food in the morning. We were well aware of this and as such, it did not matter to us as such.

Amazing accomodation, everyone should give it a try to sleep in a yurt once

The surrounding was amazing right in nature, room was super clean and cozy!

Breakfast was quite simple, but delicious - though a bread toaster would be great in the room and an espresso mashine at least at the main building to have the chance for an italian coffee in the morning :)

Authenitic experience

Very authentic experience. Super friendly and helpful staff! We got excellent service, enjoyed the grill place and overall hospitality. The WC and shower were about 50 meters from our yurt so in minus 20 you have to put a lot of clothes on, but any way quite interesting experience. The yurt was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was also OK - cheese, salamy, bread, yoghurt, eater, juice, coffee. So overall we were very happy.

Amazing place to stay and great view of the northern lights.

There are five yurts. We stayed in yurt #1. Beautifully furnished and decorated. So cosy. We loved cooking our dinner on the open fire in the barn. A fantastic experience all round.
