Wow amazing!! The location next to the lake, which was frozen when we went was superb. The house is wonderful, amazing views, very comfortable and fully equipped. Wonderful host Pia. Ask Pia about visiting her reindeers. You can walk to her farm and also the ice hotel. We stayed in most evenings cooked and kept checking for the northern lights. It's great for viewing as you are away from light pollution. Great sauna. Thank you Pia for a wonderful stay and holiday 😀

Everything was perfect.

The house is complete, new and clean, with absolutely everything a guest needs. The host welcomed us and explained how everything worked, as well as making himself available if we had any questions. It's very easy to get to from the center of Rovaniemi and we were able to see the Northern Lights from the lake, it's really beautiful. I definitely recommend it and would like to return in the summer.

The whole Lumossa Aurora experience is absolutely fantastic from the first message exchanges prior check-in to the snow rally exit upon checkout. Our host Jyrki (hope the spelling is correct) is a gentleman, clearly enjoying the fact that we and the kids had our best times at his house. Indoors/outdoors fireplaces, lots of snow on and off-shore (frozen lake in front of the house), quiet pine forest, sauna. Civilisation and santa village is a 15m drive away, on roads with stunning beauty all around. We could see fresh reindeer tracks in fromt of the house by the way. We missed out on the aurora borealis due to cloudy weather, but with a touch of luck we could have had that too, there is almost zero light pollutiom. The i terior of the house is 100% functional with a touch of northern folklore and love. Brought a ton of useless stuff from home because basically everything we needed was just there.
