Not good at all

The site manager was helpful.

Not clean at all and the host not great at all. They told us that they fired the cleaning team that how bad it was. Not comfortable and not what we book. It was smaller and we had to cancel everything to leave to find somewhere else.

Health and Safety First……

* Close to town and other attractions * Parking available at front and cheap parking close by if you don’t get a space. * Fully equipped property, even has a washing machine

Not great place to stay

Only could say location, did read previous reviews was complaining about pillows, not enough and no amenities in the bathroom, but on my stay we had 4 pillows, more then enough and amenities, so I guess they read reviews and do something about that

Cleanliness, cleanliness, cleanliness, so much dust everywhere, shower was blocked, towels and bedding I guess see it better times, I have to nope the floor as Ty was dirty, microwave dirty, oven covers with dirt, will I stay here again? Definitely no, got hotel just down the road it was amazing

Poor service

No one as stated was at the property to meet us sat on a wall outside in the cold . After several phone calls we were given a code for the front door and told to wait in the hallway. Several more phone calls later still in the hallway we were told we were in flat number 1, On entering we found a pile of furniture moved into the middle of the room between both single beds no headboards attached to the beds no toilet paper no towels room very dusty. Several more phone calls later was told someone with phone you from the team it didn’t happen. Then just before 7pm two ladies knocked on the door came in was shocked that it was let out and they said they would stay and give it a good clean and put the bedroom back to how it should be . We left and came back two hours later the flat was clean smelt better and the bedroom had been reorganised towels were on the bed and toilet paper had been left . Nothing has been offered in the way of a part refund just a few sorry on the phone from the team . It was a cold wet night to be outside and it wasn’t just us it was also a couple who were new arrivals that day who were left outside without any entry details. Meet and greet at the property was non existent extremely poor marks rotten start to our weekend away

Everything! It was filthy, smelly, and an absolute disgrace! We didn't stay a single night, and despite complaining instantly, they refused to refund our money! So, we are currently in the process of seeking legal advice. Avoid booking as it is nothing like what is advertised!

Parking Location

Stained pillow protectors and cases! I went out and bought 2 new pillows and cases! Minging! Cobwebs on the walls! Uncomfortable bed that needs replacing! Stained towels! No battery’s in carbon monoxide monitor! Apartment stunk of curry! Seriously needs a revamp/lick of paint in communal areas and apartment! Faulty blinds/ no curtains! Water stain/leak/ damp patches on the walls! Shower/ walls needs a good clean! Grime everywhere! Rang/ emailed hosts several times but never got back to me! Cleaners couldn’t apologise enough but didn’t show up til we were leaving! I wanted to leave and stay elsewhere but no availability anywhere! No communication off the hosts at all! Noisy neighbours playing music all hours! Boiler in bedroom seen better days, kept clicking so turned it off especially with no carbon monoxide monitors! Sock over the fire alarm! Kettle was disgusting needs replacing! Area was a bit daunting at night!

Good location and good sized accommodation

Good location for Southport beach and to the train station for trains to both Manchester and Liverpool. Comfortable bed and good sized accommodation.

No working batteries in the carbon monoxide detector. Could do with a deep clean behind bedroom furniture. Bags of washing in the hallway the entirety of our stay.

Great apartment in good location

Great location, clean, well equipped, apartment and amazing staff, especially Jill who deals with any issues immediately and Colin who must be the best handyman ever. Close to all amenities like shops, bars, restaurants and train station. Looking forward to staying there again.

Lovely flat in Southport

It had everything you need for a short break. Apartment was nice and clean. It’s in a quiet street. Close to shops and the seafront.

The parking spaces at front of house are small and would only suit a small car however we managed to get parked nearby at £5 for 24 hours

Pleasantly Surprised.

The stay was very nice 👌 The only problem was with the boiler we had no hot water on the first day but I reset the boiler on Tuesday morning and everything was OK. Would use again.

Good but a few issues

Good location. If you had a problem they would help.

Radiator in the back room was too hot. Every time I got in or out the shower it burnt me. My grandma wouldn’t have a shower as she was too scared. Room is still cold even with heating. On our first night there was a light outside the window in the bedroom which kept coming on and made it hard to sleep. Bottom apartment you hear a lot of noise especially people coming in and out late at night.

A down-the-middle experience but great if you're looking for something cheap for a short stay

Some really positive aspects of this apartment included; • Central location to town and the promenade • Very comfy bed • Great shower pressure and water temperature • Easy to warm up using radiators from the gas boiler • Big fridge and freezer • Washing machine • Easy entry and secure entry system • Parking (although we didn't use this) • Smart TV • Good for the price and for those looking for something for a short stay • Host was helpful at check in and we appreciated that they helped us out with a special request • It's obvious that the host has listened to previous guests and responded to negative feedback for example there's privacy stickers across the windows and the damp patches have been treated and painted over. There was ample space to hang clothes and plenty of places to store things

This apartment was let down by; • Ridiculously loud neighbours - hosts advice was to "call the police" even though noise pollution from neighbours is not something police generally deal with. The walls were so thin in our apartment (#2) that we could hear every word. We were woken several times around 3am by loud ranting from intoxicated neighbours. We tried hard not to let it ruin our trip, but our holiday was intended to be a peaceful one away from this kind of behaviour and noise, and these occurrences really annoyed us. I had to bang on the wall to get them to shut up • Hob couldn't handle two rings being used at once and was frustrating to work with • Kitchen equipment (frying pans etc) not really suitable to cook meals for two in. The frying pan was cheap, burned, and way too small • Needs a deep clean. It was just about clean enough. Sticky floor • No way to recycle anything at all even though Sefton Council issues a brown recycle-all wheelie bin to every household • Terrible couch. You can't relax on it as there's no back support and it devastated my neck and back arthritis. Cuddling up to a movie was out of the question

Perfect location, hosts were easy to contact, getting into the apartment was very easy :) it literally had everything we needed and was a perfect weekend away!! Literally all the little touches you could think of and a large spacious apartment :)

Just the boiler in the bedroom seemed to kick in every 15-20 mins and it’s quite loud that’s the only negative about they stay or I would’ve given it a 10

Great little apartment on the top floor. Everything you need in a great location. Overall was clean and perfect for what we needed with friendly communication with instruction of our arrival and throughout.

Nothing not to like! Only thing we noticed was 1 or 2 of the decorative furnishings could do with an upgrade or clean, but definitely not enough to put you off your stay. Very very minor and didn’t take away from the apartment being very clean.

Lovely apartment for a short break!

Location was good with access to the front very close as well as a good range of shops close by including large sainsburys (apartment is self catering). The host was really helpful - I'd changed the booking to be on the ground floor as my mobility is limited. There was no washing machine in the replacement apartment so the host arranged for me to use the machine upstairs which was great. The apartment contains everything you need for a relaxing stay and is nicely furnished.

There are only two parking spaces so we didn't want to move the car in case we lost our space. However there are car parks nearby.
