Lovely and modern property in the heart of Southport.

Lovely and modern property in the heart of Southport. Great location, secure and private.

Some of the basics were missing, especially in the kitchen. No can opener, greater, chopping boards etc. No bins upstairs. Heating wasn’t working, plumber got it going but could only control temperature from the boiler. None of this was a big deal and hope easily fixed for the next guests.

Great dog friendly stay in a fab location!

The house was spotless and in a great location… the outdoor space was ideal making it a perfect dog friendly stay! Shops restaurants and bars round the corner and only a 15 min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

A little gem tucked away in Southport but close to all amenities.

Ideally situated to explore Southport. Close to many bars, shops and restaurants but also in a very peaceful location. Cheap and secure all day parking just two minutes away. Modern and bright throughout, well equipped and the hosts were easily contactable and dealt with requests promptly to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Situated down an alleyway the house you pass by to reach the property had a leaking water pipe leaving a dirty puddle that you cannot avoid walking through. However this is beyond the control of the property owners.

First impressions-very modern and very nice, BUT whoever designed/did the work never lived there.

Very clean, and beds lovely and very comfortable.

1) Keysafe very problematic-needs renewing. 2) Access alleyway constantly wet with a slippery puddle in the middle. 3) Access alleyway completely enclosed and in the dark, dangerous as no lighting. 4) Property numbers on the gates would have been very helpful as no idea where to go without trying all each one. 5) No washing up liquid/J-cloths when you need to wash just a couple of dishes. 6) apartment was for 4 adults-but only 3 lounge seats and 2 breakfast bar stools. 7) Boiler failed BOTH mornings and had to be reset. 2nd time more difficult. 8) Bath surround was very wide and getting out after a shower from a slippery bath with no anti slip mat was dangerous. 9) shower controls impossible to operate with wet/soapy hands. No indication of where the hot/cold setting was. 10) downstairs toilet door doesn't lock. 11) electric iron cable outer insulation broken and dangerous. 12) no ironing board 13) outside seating cushions very dirty (bird crap)

A great little hideaway in Southport

Location is great, apartment on the whole was clean and nice

Issue with front door still not rectified (used same place last year) sticks when using it. Had to buy own essentials (toilet roll and washing up liquid)

Lovely, comfortable and in a great location.

Modern, clean, tidy. Two bedrooms are a real plus point. More than enough room, even though some might think it’s small down stairs… but it’s not.

The parking can be an issue, if you’re not aware of it. However, it’s free after 6pm, if like us your out and about most of the day, then it’s not a problem. The doors, keys, access can be a issue, because the key safe was difficult to open and then the security door has a knack to opening it… but once you know how, you know how. Not an issue, more an observation. One last thing, the access isn’t illuminated, most have phones, so again, not an issue, but when carrying bags you need to be mindful.”

Everything, the house was exceptional. Absolutely home from home. The place was spotless, had everything you need. Location was central to shops, bars and restaurants. Access and host was superb.

Fantastic house everything you need catered for immaculate and great location, met all expectations

Lovely clean spacious house, nice private garden which would be a bonus in summer. Everything you need is there for you. Beds comfortable and clean sheets. Towels provided. Wi fi included.

Lack of communication. We was sat outside and despite phone calls and messages sent earlier in the day we waited a while to be sent the code for the lock box to get in the property. I had left a message to say I was calling booking.com as we got no response and whilst in a queue for customer services a message came through with the details of the pin for the lock box. Also the property was behind a gate which if given detailed instructions would of been easier to find. It was dark and absolutely throwing it down and we was soaked by the time we got in. But would know for future reference.

Everything was perfect from the start to finish. We didn't want to leave, including our two young children. Can't wait to stay again. Welcome gifts on arrival very nice. Host very helpful and professional when we needed to contact about check out time.

Nothing to dislike, but a Clothes Airer for items that couldn't go in the dryer would be useful. Somewhere to hang coats downstairs would be useful aswell.

Lovely home in Southport

A lovely little house literally around the corner from Lord Street. It was spotlessly clean, very quiet, comfy beds, free parking on a private drive. Had everything we needed and a nice welcome gift on arrival.

It would have been nice to have been able to sit outside on the lovely patio and enjoy the sun, some simple foldaway outdoor seating would have been appreciated. The living room seating was small, my husband and I struggled to relax properly on the 2 seater sofa. There was a chair but it wasn't made for lounging.

beautifully appointed,but so masculine.Deserves a feminine touch .No practical things like toilet brush’s.Mirrors! plus only a two sofa seat and a single seat.Not suitable for four people.No table and chairs to eat.Only a bar table where the hob is.It’s very central and great to get to all the bars and restaurants.

House tucked away from main road so fairly quiet. Newly refurbished and tastefully decorated, as if it was the type of accomodation the host would have liked

Lovely place to stay. Very modern but not uncomfortable, very warm and cosy. Every convenience available and handy for all of Southport’s attractions.

Nothing really. As a review though, I’d be remiss to not mention there is no parking. However, do not be put off by this. We were able to park right outside the entrance… yes, you do have to pay, but we found due to the times of the free parking, we paid very little to nothing, as we were out and about when charges were applied to the street. As an addition to that, we expected the parking to be much worse, as we knew we were staying right in the middle of the town centre, but we were pleasantly surprised at the ease and cost of parking.
