Excellent location, really central and in the heart of Ortigia, without it bring too noisy at night. Beautiful, good sized rooms with great views down onto Piazza Duomo. Really helpful check-in instructions and good old fashioned keys for the rooms! A nice little touch.
No lift means carrying suitcases up several flights of stairs, and nipping back to the room during the day really gets your steps up! The only small improvement would be the fruit on offer at breakfast - due to the heat it had all gone soft/squishy. Maybe put out fresh fruit in smaller portions each day? Otherwise an excellent place to stay in Ortigia.

3rd floor and The lack of elevator is just something to keep in mind

Cental location - It is not a hotel but a type private B&B with do it your-self breakfast - located on 3th floor in building with other type B&B. - Think Booking.com has to rethink the desription of the facilites No reception - had to make a telephone call to get key - Owner had sent a message via WhatsApp/booking. com - but Booking.com did not forward it before later - Normally I am spamed with mails etc from Booking.com before each stay - but not when it was important.
