Casa verbavolant is a very special place. Fasta and Elio are the perfect hosts snd their home / Air bnb is exquisite. The history of the building and the owners connection and pride in their home is touching and a beautiful space to be in. the location is perfect. Breakfasts are made with thought and kindness. You must stay here !

Our stay at Casa VerbaVolant was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Elio and Fausta are truly some of the kindest, most welcoming hosts we've ever met. They are publishers, and their passion for books and storytelling shines through every detail of this charming B&B.
The property is absolutely adorable, filled with vintage typewriters, books, and a beautiful library that creates such a warm, unique atmosphere. You can tell how much love, thought, and care they've poured into making this a special place for their guests.
The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Ortigia and within easy walking distance of everything: the restaurants, shops, piazzas, waterfront, and all the island's incredible sights. Having on-site laundry was also a huge bonus during our travels.
Each morning, we looked forward to their delicious breakfast, and throughout our stay Elio and Fausta went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful people.
10/10—we would recommend Casa VerbaVolant to anyone visiting Ortigia. It's no surprise they have such outstanding reviews. If you're looking for a place full of charm, character, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. We can't wait to return!
