The space is spacious. The location is near train station and a caffefour express.

No lift! Have to climb 6 flight of steps. Host could have informed us from the start. The additional room is on different floor from the main apartment. The additional room has only a bed. No attached bathroom.

The apartment is well located in the center of the city. The living room is luminous. The flat has a small balcony you can use for enjoying with a drink. Sofa and fireside chair are comfortable.

We booked this flat as a little family, with one child (< 2 years) Globally, the flat doesn't look like the pictures for one reason: the owner rent out the global building, so the pictures are reflecting either from 1st, 2sd or 3rd floor apartment. Fit-out has been done under savings and look globally "cheap". We had the apartment located on 2sd floor. - You have to pick up the keys in a agency where half of the tourists goes from 2.PM, when it opens. We waited 30min to see our tour coming. The "agency" is located 20min by walk from the apartment (1,6kms) - not easy at all with child. - Ceiling lighting of the bathroom were not working. - The extra room is on another level (you have to pass trough the common area) so we were not able to let our kid sleeping in another part of the building alone. - The hotplates did not work. - Not even a strainer in the kitchen equipment to cook pastas (we cooked the pasta with hot water from the kettle in a bowl) - The staircase to reach the apartment is steep as f***. Very difficult to climb with a stroller for e.g. - The door of the main bedroom were not closing (the layout of the bed within the bedroom were blocked the door) - You have to pass through the main bedroom to reach the restroom. Not practice when someone is already sleeping. - You can hear the neighbors walk or seat on their chairs - very old building with wooden structure. - Depending of who's renting out one of the apartment below or above may manage quality of your sleep. - My son has his feets black colored after running an hour in the apartment. Not sure of the cleanliness. As a conclusion: rental rates much above return on services.

uncomfortable and very noisy. Slept very badly

the area was ok. The shower was good. there weren’t enough towels and they brought an extra towel really fast.

the street was very very noisy till very late as were the hallways of the appartement. our neighbours downstairs got in at 3 am and we could hear everything. The layout of the apartment was extremely unhandy. You had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the bathroom and the second bedroom was on a different floor ! There was no toilet for the second bedroom. The apartment was not very clean. The mattress and bedlinnen was cheap and the towels were a bit musty.

There are two big things we didn’t like; It was very noisy. You’ll need to accept noise from the streets, but there are a number of holiday apartments in the building having a party, or coming in from a late night in town that kept us awake. Another negative thing was that we needed to pick up the keys in a different part of town. Finally, if you’re travelling with kids, keep in mind that the extra bedroom is separated from the main apartment.

Basic apartment in the middle of historic old town for those who like to walk around.

This is a renovated apartment on the third floor of an old house in the historic center of Antwerp. In walking distance to major tourist attractions (churches with paintings) of the city. Old town is not friendly to cars, but walking and rental bicycles in the street works. Many restaurants and taverns around. Fridge, microwave and range for those who eat in the apartment, grocery store (Albert Hein) in 5 min walking distance. All dishes, etc. in the apartment. The room is pretty minimalistic, but good value. Hosts use WhatsApp and send video instructions and guides.

Picking the keys far from the apartment, it is a ~1.5km detour compared to the route directly to apartment. Not so friendly to travelers with suitcases. The stairs in the apartment are very steep (>45 degrees), again, not easy with suitcases. The entrance looks like an name-less entrance to a store and not easy to find.

Awesome Aprtment!

This apartment is ideal if you are looking for your own space even on holiday. it is very spacious for two to three people though i was travelling solo. The presence of a kitchen is very helpful especially if you dont want to rush out in the morning for breakfast. The loction of the apartment is also great.

Modern, simple and good Wifi! You can't ask for a better location to spend your time in Antwerp. It's super central but just beyond the city hustle so you can sleep easy. Whatever you need is 5 mins walking distance, from quaint coffee shops and restaurants to tourist sights (Cathedral of Our Lady Antwerp / Het Steen Castle) to your avant-garde boutiques or local grocer. My unit was fully equipped, which is great if you quickly want to cook something or entertain friends for dinner. If you need anything you can chat to the hosts via Whatsapp and they respond very quickly. All round great stay.

Upon booking accommodation there were various apartment images, they should filter it so there is no confusion. It was unusually hot in Europe during my stay, so air conditioning or at least a fan would be a great addition. Although the beds were comfy, I'd say it could do with an upgrade - it just didn't feel on the same level as the rest of the apartment. Otherwise no complaints.

Good location, but i will never be back here

- the location is great, close to many good restaurants, shops, nice area - we liked the beds. they were comfortable - we liked that we had coffee machine & plates and a small kitchenette - we had shampoo, shower gel and everything needed in the bathroom

- the fact that you have to pick up the keys from another adress… i was dragging my suitcase on cubic rocks for a key… when they could just put a key box and the lady there even told me to give 10 stars on booking in the end; lol - the stairs are terrible, very small & steep, no elevator - the apartment didn’t look as the pictures - the decorations were ugly, like everything that was not useful in someone’s house was there - the plant was almost dead, we had to water it - there was no tv/radio - there were not clean & tidy kitchen towels - a lot of very strict rules written everywhere, but they don’t actually care about the guests

Comfortable stay and great location, but mainly good for a couple or small family

The location was great, right in the middlr of the city center which meant everything important was within walking distance. The apartment is spacious and perfect for a couple or small families with 1 or 2 children. The bathroom was also great a lot of space and a nice shower.

The apartment is supposed to host 4 adults, but the layout is suboptimal for this. One of the sleeping rooms is one level below with no bathroom attached. Access to the only bathroom (in the main apartment) is only possible via the sleeping room. I would only recommend this apartment for small couples (1 couple at the time) or small families.

Place was clean, in a real good area and everything we needed.

Had to pick up the keys from 10 blocks away by walking. 4 storeys up and no elevator. Second bedroom is a floor down and it has no bathroom so our family members needed the key to access our room where the bedroom is and the only bathroom in the apartment is in the bedroom so anyone needing the bathroom had to come into the bedroom to access it.

our experience was not pleasant

good location. plenty of space

We were told to meet at 2:15 but at 2:30 when the man arrived to let us in he didn't have the key so we had to wait longer. the building is very old so it felt like the ceiling would come down whenever someone walked in the apartment above us. they were having a party upstairs so it was very loud and we did not have a peaceful night away. the bed was very uncomfortable. they had two mattresses stacked on top of each other. there was broken glass on the floor in the living room.

Good location. Very poor value for money

Apartment in the heart of old Antwerp, close to the Groenplaats and Grote Markt. Parking Groenplaats is around the corner.

Contrary to expectations, the second bed room was not in the apartment, but at a different floor. The toilet was en suite, so everyone had to move through the master bed room. Two toilets would have been nice. Also the space is much smaller than the picture suggests and decorated in the cheapest way possible. There is no TV or screen to watch movies on. There are signs everywhere telling you what to do, but on Saturday night we woke up with the tenants above us throwing a party. Dishes were dirty. For the price we paid, none of this is really acceptable.
