Pemedal Beach Resort

This was our first time staying here and we definitely will be back! We have stayed at Mushroom bay before but never in Jungutbatu, would highly recommend. Its a beautiful beach with a lot of restaurants and shops to offer, while also being laid back like the rest of the island. Pemedal Beach Resort is beautiful, with a great location, right on the beach and connected to the main road via a laneway (far enough infront of the main road that its nice and quiet). The pool is perfect, with great priced and tasting drinks and food. We spent a lot of our time by the pool either on the lounges or the bean bags that are on the sand in front of the pool with a coconut or cocktail in hand. Also, a lot of hotel pools on Lembongan discolour swimsuits, but their pool did not which was an extra bonus! The resort has a rockwall in front of it, where you can sit on a beanbag watching a beautiful sunset, and you can access the beach off to the right. The beach is nicest at mid-lower tide, when the water is clear, however watch the coral as it can be sharp on your feet! Everything about this place was great, from the surprisingly comfortable beds, to the cute individual bungalows and live music by the pool twice per week.

The bathroom is a little basic, with limited hot water and the shower could have been a little cleaner. But it wasn't an issue as we only wanted to have short showers and the bathroom was huge and the shower did not flood the whole bathroom like many other hotels in the area.

Plenty of sun lounges and bean bags. Staff were lovely. Food was excellent. View was lovely and plenty to watch as you sat on the sun lounges watching ferries and snorkeling boats going back and forth.

We were a family of 11 and we all loved the casual atmosphere, the location and the staff were great

The room Maintenance was poor. They did not replenish the tea tray everyday , I had to ask. They did not replace the towels so I used the swimming pool towels. They did not clean the tea cups on the veranda, they stayed there for the whole 4 days bringing ants. Quality control if the room cleaning service was non-existing.
