Le Cottage Belmontais, maison individuelle, vue panoramique sur la rivière

Wonderful location in the centre of the pretty town. Close to the main square with its jolly bar and also restaurant. Perfect overnight stop on our way from the Port of Caen to the Dordogne. Well appointed dog friendly cottage with great views of the river and attentive host.

What an amazing property to spend the night in. The views from the decked area were amazing, and the tranquility of being right by the river was beautiful. I wish we had booked for longer. A+

Stunning location, with splendid view over the French countryside and river from the rear patio (photos do not do it justice!). Ideal to take coffee & breakfast in the morning (and possibly a sneaky gin and tonic in the evening). The property was spacious, clean and had all the amenities you need. The property owners were extremely friendly and approachable. The property has a cottage feel with a double bedroom easily accessible on the ground floor and a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Open plan living room and well equipped kitchen. We loved a stroll through the village and neighbouring villages, we're only sorry we couldn't stay longer!

The stairs to the fist floor are open plan and quite steep. You would have to be very careful with small children an/or somebody with mobility issues.

Lovely riverside location. Comfortable place to stay. Very friendly helpful owner.
