The location and views were amazing! When I arrived I found the condo in less than acceptable cleaning detail. I must say the owner Jim Walters was quick to respond with a cleaning crew to clean areas I photographed unacceptable. The bed in the guest bedroom was very comfortable however the master king was not the best. I had a water heating and pressure problem in the master bathroom but again Jim called plumbers who came out and fixed the pressure and heating problem. The only remaining problem I had with the master faucets was that I had to unscrew the filters every several days as sand and sediment built up very quickly in the filters . I would have liked to been told there was no garbage disposable . Throwing food waste into the trash all the time made it a pain to take out trash at least once a day to avoid the smells of decaying trash in the condo. Everyone I spoke with in the complex had a garbage disposal. I had one but it was broken. One last thing as a long term renter(5+ ) months it would have been convenient to have had a garage door opener. All in all Jim was a very responsive owner who responded to me quickly. Again the views and ease of getting around town were great!

This property is in the heart of Del Mar for beach and park lovers. This is an active local neighborhood, very diverse, young, old and in between. The condo was ideal for relaxing, cooking good meals and more importantly the great ocean views, and enjoyment of Del Mar. It's right across the street from the beach and the park. The condo has lots of beach toys, boogie boards, sand chairs, etc, just bring your towel and you are all set for fun at the beach. It's also walking distance to shops and restaurants for a stress free and car free vacation spot.

I almost didn’t want to write a review, because I don’t want anyone else to know about this place! I’m all seriousness, we LOVED staying in #5. We have two children, and it was the perfect location - close to downtown restaurants, shops, the beach, playground and park. My favorite part was the view of the ocean from the reclining couch in the living room. I honestly couldn’t think of a better way to wake up everyday. The owners were so easy and nice to work with - we can’t wait to return!
