Amazing stay. We really recommend this hotel!

It was amazing! The Spa area and the skypool are wonderful and we had a very comfortable stay at saltus. The stuff was very kind and we are very happy to made that experience. We will come back.

The Hotel is not a adult only hotel, for that reason many families with kids can lead to loud noices and less relexation.

Relaxing, and beautiful stay

Gorgeous property with an amazing breakfast and spectacular views. Loved the pool, the sauna was excellent and took a nice yoga class while there.

Was unfamiliar with the nude sauna property. It was done once we got used to it but I wish there was more clarify on sauna etiquette and the way to do it properly.

Perfect

The hotel is beautiful and you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in the doors. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a perfect view into the forest. The pools and sauna area were amazing. We booked half-board and both the breakfast and dinners were delicious and you could try multiple smaller dishes if you wanted. The staff was very friendly and we felt very relaxed after our stay here.

Very happy and relaxing stay at Saltus.

We loved our stay at Saltus. The pool(s) on the top floor our fab, our room was comfortable and very spacious. The views from our room of the forest were nice and the views from the top floor of the valley were amazing. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were all so kind and welcoming - very willing to give recommendations during our stay. We had the breakfast and dinner option which was great. Given the location, you’d probably have to drive to find any other food options, so eating on site was great. Breakfast has a wide variety of options and you can order as much as you like - really good quality. The dinner menu changes daily and was amazing! Drinks options were also extensive! It’s not a cheap stay, but we thought it was 100% worth it!

The building is a bit of a labyrinth of corridors (essentially connecting two buildings) but we didn’t mind this at all.

Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxation personified. Every element of Saltus recharges the body and mind. From the staff to the menus at dinner and breakfast, you leave revitalised and wanting to come back immediately.

Although the menu was fantastic, it was bread and meat heavy. Fine of course given the local area and cuisine so we’re not complaining at all but would be useful to have options of side ‘greens’ and vegetables along with courses to help give a bit of crunch to some of the courses.

Fake and poor “insta hotel”

Lounge area is nice, and Saltus hike is beautiful

It is actually very fake. I called it Insta Hotels. They take nice pictures, but everything else is fake and unprofessional. We have booked for 3 people at booking. And after we enter the room, even tho was set to 3 people. Additional bed ready. They started sending messages saying we need to pay extra ($200 per night for my kid). Although, we actually booked for 3 and pay in advance. Continuously harassing us. They blamed booking, but it was clearly not booking fault. At the end they have tried to put more expenses in our bill. And didn’t want to take it out. They brought the bulletins without signatures in times we were out of the hotel with the fake additional charges. Then they ask sorry. Fake and dishonest poor hotel.

The View to the mountains from Rooftop or Pool

The Relax from Wellness Area was too noisy and tied. and there was no Sauna Aufguss from Friday until Tuesday. Sauna needs Aufguss. Also too many people like children’s wear Bikini’s or swim trunks in the Sauna

Dreamy experience, one of the best wellness destinations ive been to

Amazing aesthetic, amazing views, super clean, comfortable beds, facilities like sauna and pool had the most amazing views ive ever seen. Felt like i was in a painting. Food was also great and rlly had that wellbeing element. The parking was very easy and free.

Only things i would change: sauna opens late (2 pm) and closes 7 pm. Also the pool closes early considering sunset was at 9 pm. Staff were a bit cold and not super welcoming but always gave us what we asked for. Also if you speak english only, the yoga classes and other sessions were mainly in german, however they tried to translate whenever they could. Also rooms have no AC and got a bit hot, when i opened the window a bit for some air some scary big bugs flew into my room at night, which didnt exactly help me sleep

Incredible views, stylish and spacious modern hotel with very comfortable beds. Amazing pool!

The location is unbelievable, with incredible views. The hotel is beautifully designed and has amazing facilities such as sauna, heated indoor and outdoor pools, lounge areas and a lovely dining area. The rooms are spacious and well designed. Incredibly comfortable bed and pillows - always a win in my books. The bathrooms are large and stunning. All staff speak English.

I think the staff should give you a tour on arrival as we only discovered the sauna area on our last day. Though we were happy whit relaxing around the heated pool area.

Great escape to be offline from the world.

Spa and Pool is freaking amazing. We liked that everything was clean/new and the view from the pool. Everyone was friendly. There is a bus that goes into the main city every hour which makes it super convenient. The yoga and wine tasting were free. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. Dinner was good too. we loved actually the routine of the food.

We spent 6 days in the hotel so everyday we saw more and more flaws and issues. But our biggest issue was the pricing policy. For example just getting your breakfast(included in our booking) delivered to our room was 25€. Then pool service offers 3 dishes and cost another extra 10€. The massages and treats were way to high for what you get. I understand the eco friendly setup but still considering the room price, it's too high. If the rooms would be 30-35% cheaper then we would definitely come back and ignore all these minor issues. Average Age was around 45 - 55.

The hotel is simply wonderful. From the architecture, cleanliness, and comfort of the rooms and common areas. Kind and available staff, very good food, and the pool is the icing on the cake. Perfect!

I travel all the time and rarely take time to write reviews. This was 11/10. Food, peace, serenity and access to the outdoors. They have an incredible hiking room with all maps, books, etc. Easy to get around without a car as well. Bus passes to use during your stay (if you can get yourself to leave the wellness area) I highly recommend the nightly dinners. Everything is sourced locally and the menu changes daily. I can’t wait to return. It’s also 3rd generation, family owned.

Got potential, needs operational improvement

Very interesting concept, I liked no TV in rooms and overall design. Many additional activities like meditation, infinity pool, restaurant with beautiful view made my stay pleasant. Very interesting food menu.

A la carte breakfast is a big NO. Instead of enjoying your food you need to guess how big it might be, then hope they will bring it without mistake, because they made them, and most of all you wait, wait and look at others people waiting in silence. There is a reason buffets are standard even in 5* hotels. Also permanent machine noises through the wall were a bit annoying in the night.

Amazing place

Despite of being out of Bolzano center, it is a fantastic place. Those pools, especially the infinity, and the scenery were simply amazing. The hotel has a breathtaking scenic view surrounded by vineyards. The room was modern, as simple as chic, comfortable and beautiful, and we still had sauna e relaxing areas in a immersive nature experience. The breakfast was splendidy and healthy and we had easy free parking in front of the building.

Superb

Covid measures and cleanliness were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful, peaceful location. The view of the forest from the room is wonderful. The view from the rooftop infinity pool is amazing.

The dark hallways are somewhat oppressive. No spoon or saucers with the tea making facilities. No sunshades on the roof terrace. Although the food was excellent, it would be good to have more variation between the menus in the bistro and Gasthof restaurant.

Wellnesstage im Saltus

Extrem bequemes Bett. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkgarage verfügbar. Umgebung sehr schön zum wandern und spazieren besonders im Winter mit dem Schnee.

Ich finde es schade, dass es keinen Whirlpool hat. Der Pool draussen ist im Winter leider recht kalt mit 24 Grad, weshalb man nicht lange im Wasser bleiben konnte. Die grosse Sauna war um 10 Uhr morgens noch nicht eingestellt und somit leider nicht benutzbar.

Leider ist das Hotel sehr unpraktisch aufgebaut. Wellness-Wochenende kann man hier nicht machen. Pool im Dachgeschoss, Sauna im 2.Og auf der andren Seite, Gym nochmal woanders. Ruhe-Area ist zu klein. Es gab nur Liegen für 8 Paare. Bad hat keine Fenster. Es hat aus dem Abfluss (Dusche) gestunken. Es wurde leider nicht angemessen reagiert. Hausmeister kam, hat einmal Wasser drüber laufen lassen, das war’s. Hatten eine furchtbare erste Nacht. Haben am nä morgen sofort das Zimmer gewechselt.

Splendida struttura immersa nel bosco, con qualche piccola incoerenza

Il vero plus di questa struttura è il design ricercato, perfettamente integrato con il bosco circostante. Molto bella anche la spa, anch’essa immersa nella natura. Ottima la colazione servita al tavolo, ricca di alternative e di qualità. Buona la cena con menu del giorno e classici della cucina locale. Design della camera e degli interni è curato in ogni minimo dettaglio.

Forse non ho pienamente compreso la filosofia dell’hotel: si promuove il rispetto dell’ambiente, ma a tratti sembra un modo per togliere alcuni comfort mascherandolo da scelta “green”. Ad esempio, le ciabattine da camera non sono fornite ma acquistabili, l’acqua "di fonte" aka del rubinetto è a pagamento al ristorante anche con la mezza pensione, mentre nella spa si trovano montagne di asciugamani usati dagli ospiti come se fossero usa e getta. Inoltre, nel bagno della camera mancava il bagnoschiuma.

Un séjour marqué par une cuisine excellente, un personnel attentionné et un cadre plein de charme.

Nous avons adoré le restaurant avec des plats excellents servis chaque jour et un personnel toujours accueillant et attentionné. L’hôtel est bien situé et la décoration des lieux apporte beaucoup de charme et de chaleur à l’ensemble du séjour.

Les massages ont été très décevants : deux soins différents réservés mais identiques à l’exécution (très mal exécutés) praticienne peu compétente, durée non respectée (réservé pour 1h mais durée de 45min) et aucun geste de la réception malgré notre signalement. Dans la chambre, la température ne peut pas être réglée en dessous de 22 degrés, il fait donc vite trop chaud. Les oreillers sont très fins et peu confortables.

Credo che debbano migliorare due cose l’ospitalità intesa come la lingua italiano, che non appena capiscono che sei italiano ti evitano, e alcuni abbinamenti della cena, a parer mio troppo rischiosi .

- Für den Zimmerpreis hätten wir uns einen herzlichen Empfang gewünscht inkl. Informationsaustausch von wichtigen Informationen durch das Empfangspersonal —> z.B beschränkte WLAN Zeiten, Leere Mini-Bar, kein TV im Zimmer, keine Badeschlappen im Zimmer. Alles auf Nachfrage erhältlich. Keine hinreichende Erläuterung des umfangreichen und verwinkelten Gebäudes (mehrere Aufzüge mit diversen Zugängen) durch den (vermutlich) Praktikanten nur spärlich erläutert - Service wirkte vorwiegend lustlos. Servicequalität nicht angemessen für 4-Sterne Hotel. - 10€ Gebühren für Pool-Service - 12€ Gebühren / Tag für Tiefgaragenstellplatz - E-Ladesäule hat nicht funktioniert - 5-6€ für Quellwasser (Leitungswasser?) In der Summe haben wir uns nicht willkommen gefühlt sondern viel mehr als eine Belastung für das Personal und kombiniert mit den Extrakosten, hatte der Aufenthalt ein „Geschmäckle“.

Posto tranquillo e moderno ottimo per un momento di relax e tranquillità immerso nella natura . Sicuramente si tratta di un ottimo hotel con spa, staff molto attento ai dettagli, gentili e disponibili. Colazione alla carta inclusa ottima con varie scelte e prodotti squisiti.

Hotel bellissimo

Hotel esteticamente bellissimo, buona posizione a soli 30 minuti da Bolzano. Personale disponibile e gentile. Ottimo per passeggiate a San Genesio e dintorni. Piscina con vista fantastica, ho apprezzato che anche la mattina sia aperta almeno una sauna (cosa che da altre parti non succede). Per un futuro, sarebbe carino integrare una Jacuzzi indromassaggio, magari nel terrazzo esterno. Ma queste sono piccolezze

Per quanto riguarda la spa secondo me sarebbe da renderla interamente nudista o fare due aree dedicate, misto non va bene altrimenti ci si crea problemi e disagi. Consiglio, infine, di rendere la colazione interamente a buffet ed integrare qualcosa nel menù
