Very nice!

Very clean! The kitchen is well maintained and with all the needed equipment. The bathrooms were like new. It is about 15 min drive to Phantasialand and 25 to Köln

There is extra payment for using the washing machine and dryer. The parking was a little far away and we had a lot of luggage.

FABULOUS home for groups who appreciate style, comfort, and affordability. Love this accommodation!

I was leading a tour group of 6 women throughout Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. This was by far, one of the nicest houses I have ever booked for group travel. The style and design is gorgeous, and the host has thought of every possible detail. The kitchen is incredibly well outfitted, with ample cutlery, plates, glasses and coffee mugs for your stay. One has everything the need to prepare a meal, including basic seasonings. The layout of the property is so well thought out, and truly perfect for groups. There was a washer and dryer, as well as the pods used for doing laundry. Upstairs, there was even a little basket with odds and ends should you have forgotten something that you might need (toiletries). The entire group agreed that these hosts are so thoughtful, and clearly well traveled, as they know exactly what makes a place feel like home. Everything in the home was sparkling clean, and so nicely decorated for the Christmas holidays - which was an added bonus given that I was leading a Christmas markets tour. Our group made many fond memories in this home away from home, and I will definitely return for another stay.

The location, while perfect for our group who was exploring Cologne, Bonn and the Mosel Valley, might not be ideal for travelers looking for more of a city stay. Due to tons of road construction, the drive into and out of Bornheim was time consuming and cumbersome at rush hour. Of course, this could change within a few months, and in no way would this prevent me from staying here again. I just think it is good to know beforehand. Also, the shower on the main floor did not drain very well. I would have shared this information with the owners, but I was just informed by a group member after we had already left the property.
