Perfect room near Cologne

Very clean and well maintained property! The room was huge and super comfy. The bathroom was shared with 5 other rooms. Although I didn't experience any problem because of that.

It wasn't mentioned that the room doesn't have private bathroom before booking. It was shared with 5 other rooms. So be careful before you book depending on your preference. The location is quite far (1 hour from bus) from the city centre. And no early buses (earliest was at 10:30 am) on Sundays 😕

I can only recommend! Probably one of the cleanest places I have every stayed at. Everyone was extremely nice and they accomodated my modified check-in time when my appointments in Cologne got a bit mixed up. This place is now my new favorite go-to accommodation for when I have to go to Cologne!!

Rooms were clean, easy accessible, good facilities. Really glad with the single beds, perfect for a group of friends.

Didn't expect I had to bring my own towels. That isn't mentioned clearly on the page. Lucky we had a solution, but would have preferred to know up front.

The old man was very rude during check out, he just tell us that this is your room,when we use the fridge the lid/door of ice portion was a little bit already broken,even we did not use ice portion. We checked in at about 3 pm the next day at about 10 am he did not allow my wife to sleep even,said get out the room ,my wife was alone there,i was in bonn,i told that I come and then we shall leave. On my arrival he said " you broke ice portion door,you have to pay extra,you stayed till 12 am pay again extra 20 € ." This is a very rude behaviour from landlord's father. He just want to earn some extra money by blackmailing the guests without informing his daughter who was actual owner of the room. this is why he knowed at 10' o clock when my wife was alone there. How can you mistreat your guests. Although I gave only 10€ extra but it is not acceptable at all such a cheap behavoiur , when a lady is alone in the room and you come and says get out of the room. We never faced such a situation ever before. Really disappointed

Nothing, as booked a room with single(double sized bed ) but what we got two small seprate beds, how a couple can manage to sleep together.

Der Kontakt zum Eichecken war unkompliziert, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich benötigte noch eine Ladestation für mein e-Auto in der Nähe, da hat mich der Inhaber der Unterkunft sogar persönlich auf halbem Wege mitbegleitet.

Ruhiges Zimmer, sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber, viel Zubehör in der Küche

Ich war etwas früher da als ausgemacht aber der Besitzer hat auf meinen Anruf spontan reagiert und war eher vor Ort. Fand ich super. Nach 18 Min Autofahrt konnte man auch einen P+R erreichen und mehr Parkplätze in den Seitenstraße um mit dem Zug weiter nach Köln zu fahren. Man hat zwar abends etwas die Flugzeuge gehört war aber für mich nicht tragisch. War nicht zu lange und nicht zu laut.

Sehr geräumiges, sauberes, preiswertes Ferienzimmer mit zwei außeinander stehenden Betten mit guter Matraze. Auch das Gemeinschafts-Badezimmer war sehr sauber. der Vermieter war telefonisch gut zu erreichen und war pünktlich zur Schlüsselübergabe da.

Het is zoals een labirynt, een nummer of een kleurtje op de deur zou fijn zijn om je eigen kamer terug te vinden of de wc en douche dat was wel enorm verwarrend. We deden de deuren open die Nie onze kamer waren omdatwe niet konden vinden wie van wat was dus een nummer op de deur of een diertje maakt niet uit en wc van wc zou maklijker maken maar voor dearest niets aan te zeggen dus.

das Zimmer war groß großes Gemeinschaftsbad Vermieter gut erreichbar und schnell da, unkompliziert ruhige Lage mit dem Bus (fährt stündlich) etwa zehn Minuten bis zu Unterkunft - 45 bis nach Köln

es gab kein Waschbecken im Zimmer, obwohl das noch einmal deutlich per Nachricht gesagt wurde - es gab Umbauarbeiten - ist zwar verständlich, aber man kann es ja einfach mitteilen - mir wäre das wichtig gewesen - es gab für das Fehlen kein Entgegenkommen sehr unangenehm: Vermieter verwechselte einmal die Zimmer und wäre morgens in meinem gestanden, wenn ich nicht abgeschlossen hätte Türen waren sehr laut - Feuerschutztüren es war eher eine Monteursunterkunft - das war bei der Buchung nicht klar von gemütlich leider keine Spur - dafür hätte ich mal im Minimum ein Kissen, Wolldecke ... erwartet - das Mobiliar war eher zusammengesammelt - für mich kein Problem, aber dann soll man das mitteilen in der Küche war das Besteck leider wirklich schmuddelig, so dass ich froh war eigene Sachen mit gehabt zu haben im Zimmer war der Kühlschrank außen nicht sauber, das Bettzeug roch etwas streng die Matratze war in der Mitte ziemlich tief / durchgelegen
