Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beautiful cottage was a perfect getaway for a quiet, relaxing spring break trip with my daughter and our dog. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, and both grocery stores were a short drive from the house. The beds were the most comfortable of any rental home I have stayed in. The location was perfect for walks along the coastline. For people with allergies, the house on arrival did have a musty smell that took a day to dissipate with open windows. The property management team was very helpful and offered to purchase an air purifier, which ended up not being necessary. The Wi-Fi connected seamlessly. There is a small TV in the living room which we did not use. It was cloudy and in the 60's during our stay, and we loved the heat and ambience of the fireplace in the living room. From the bedrooms you can hear the sounds of the waves in the distance as you fall asleep.

It took about a 4-5 minute walk to get to the beach entrance. You could see the sunset from the balcony of the apartment. All the furnishings were nice and sufficient. It is an odd style layout, but good for group or to have some alone time away from teenagers. You could put them in the apartment above the garage and then the house is a 2 bedroom, one bath. Or if you went as a friends group, it’s a great value for the money. I would definitely stay there again. It was perfectly dog friendly and well located. The only downside was that the apartment above the garage had a pull out couch for the bed, and likely not comfy. I think if there was a full bed there, it would have been perfect.

If you are bringing a pet, just be aware there is no direct access to the very small fenced front yard. We happened to be there on the 3 hottest days of the year and with no A/C it was to say the least "toasty". FYI, we bought a fan which hopefully is still there. The Wi-Fi never worked but that may have been a system wide problem...maybe. The living room couch and chair are at best uncomfortable. The home is well stocked, the management company is very responsive, and the house is very cozy. It does not have a "Welcome Book" so you will have to figure out restaurants, local sites, how to work the TV, the fireplace, etc. all on your own. When you arrive, you will see a garage and second floor unit at the end of the driveway. Unless told otherwise, which we weren't, the driveway is all yours and you will have keys to get into the garage where the washer/dryer and BBQ grill are located. We are telling you all of this not to complain, but to make sure you are aware what to expect.
